UP PCS J Syllabus 2024: Preliminary
The UP PCS J 2024 Prelims are the first round of exams. The UP PSC J Prelims can be attempted for a total of 450 marks. UP PCS J Syllabus 2024: Preliminary Exam weightage
The UP PCS J prelims hold a total of 450 marks. Paper- 1 (General Knowledge) may be attempted for 150 marks while Paper- 2 (Law) may be attempted for 300 marks. In the preliminary exams, incorrect answers will face negative marking with 0.33 marks cut per wrong answer. There is no negative marking for unattempted questions.

UP PCS J Syllabus 2024: Mains Exams Weightage
The UP PCS J Mains Exam is for 1000 marks. These are split between 6 papers. Paper 1 (General Knowledge), Paper 4 (Law - I), Paper 5 (Law - II) and Paper 6 (Law - III) are for 200 marks. Paper 2 (English) and Paper 3 (Hindi) are for 100 marks each. Hope you are doing well!! There are total of four attempts for a candidate between the age of 21 - 30 years for UP PCS J examination. For SC/ST candidates there is no limited attempts they can appear for it as many times as they want till the age of 35 years.
