TNSET Cut Off 2020 - Mother Teresa Women’s University determines the TNSET 2020 cut off in order to shortlist the most deserving candidates. The cut off of TN SET 2020 will be determined for each category and subject. Candidates securing the minimum cut off of TN SET as per the category will be shortlisted for the eligibility certificate. In order to be considered qualified candidates will first have to secure the qualifying marks. All the TNSET qualified candidates will be awarded the eligibility certificate. The TNSET cut off is determined on the basis of various factors like total vacancies, exam level, and number of appeared candidates. The marks secured by the candidates as per the cut off will be the basis of TNSET result declaration. TNSET 2020 exam is expected to be held in June in offline mode. The test will be held for two papers - paper I and II. The test will be held for determining the eligibility of the candidates as Professors in the Colleges/University of Tamil Nadu. TNSET Cut Off 2020 Determining Factors

There are various factors which are considered by the exam authority in order to determine the cut off of TN SET. Here are some factors that are considered:

  • Total number of candidates appeared in the examination

  • Difficulty level of the exam

  • Total number of vacancies

  • Marking scheme of TN SET

TNSET 2020 Cut Off - Qualifying Marks

As per the TNSET notification, top 6% of the appeared candidates (taking both papers - Paper I & II) and secure at least minimum of 40% marks or more (for general/OBC category) and 35% aggregate marks or above (for OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD category) will be declared qualified to be eligibility for Assistant Professor. However, securing only the qualifying marks would not consider them qualified. Candidates will have to secure the TNSET cut off 2020 as well.

TNSET Result 2020

The authorities will announce the result of TNSET in online mode in August. Candidates will be able to check their TNSET 2020 result by using their registration number or application number and mobile number. The result of TN SET will contain the following details:

  • Name of the candidates

  • Paper appeared for

  • Marks secured by the candidates

  • Qualifying status

  • TN SET cut off marks

Candidates qualifying in the test will be awarded the TNSET eligibility certificate.
