The SSC GD application correction window was activated on November 5, 2024. The authority closed the SCC GD 2025 application form on October 14, 2024. The board previously released the SSC GD Constable notification 2025 on September 5, 2024 (revised date) on the official website. The Commission has also released the SSC GD Constable 2025 application form along with the notification. Candidates were able to submit the SSC GD application form until October 14, 2024. The SSC GD exam 2025 is expected to be conducted in January/ February 2025, according to the tentative SSC GD exam date 2025.
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts SSC GD Constable exam for recruitment of Constable (General Duty) in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Border Security Force (BSF), National Investigation Agency (NIA), Rifleman in Assam Rifles, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). There are three exam stages for the selection process - Written exam, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST), and Medical examination. Class 10th candidates between 18 to 23 years old are eligible to apply for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024. Those who submit the application form successfully will be issued an SSC GD admit card for the CBT exam.

The SSC authority activated the application correction window from November 5 to 7, 2024. The board has closed the SSC GD application form on October 14, 2024. The SSC GD Constable application form 2025 was released on September 5, 2024 on the official website. Candidates could fill the details of Aadhar card in the online application form.
For the candidates who do not have an Aadhar card can fill the details of any ID like PAN, Voter Card, Passport, School/College ID, Driving License, Employer ID or left thumb impression. The application fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs. 100 while ST/SC and female candidates are exempted from fee payment.
Steps to fill SSC GD Constable Application Form
The application form of SSC GD Constable is filled in 2 parts – Part 1 and Part 2.
Part 1 - Registration
In part 1 of registration, candidates have to fill the basic details like name, date of birth, father’s name etc. and click on “I Agree” button to proceed further. The registration number is generated after final submission of part 1 registration which the candidates’ must note down.
Part 2 – Registration
To proceed further for Part 2 registration of SSC GD Constable application form, candidates need to register through a registration ID and password. Candidates have to upload the signature and photograph and pay the requisite application fee. It is always advised to keep a copy of application form printout for further references.

The exam of SSC GD Constable is different for all three stages. SSC GD Constable computer-based examination comprises of multiple choice questions. The CBT has four sections - General Knowledge and General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, English/Hindi and Elementary Mathematics. Each paper carries 20 questions carrying 40 marks.

The Staff Selection Commission will issue the SSC GD Constable 2025 admit card on its regional official website. The admit card of SSC GD Constable will be issued stage-wise. To download the admit card, candidates will have to enter the Candidate name and date of birth or roll number/registration.
Candidates who successfully fill the application form will be issued the admit card for computer-based examination. The admit card for PST/PET will be issued to the candidates who qualify the CBT whereas the admit card for medical examination will only be issued to those candidates who qualify PST/PET.
The SSC GD Constable 2025 answer key will be released in online mode at ssc.gov.in. The answer key of SSC GD Constable 2025 will be released in two parts - provisional and final. The commission also released the response sheet of the candidates so that candidates can check their answers.
The Staff Selection Commission will declare the SSC GD Constable 2025 result for CBT online at ssc.gov.in. The result of the written exam will be declared for the candidates who secure above or equal marks released by the commission. Secondly, the result of PST, PET is released for the candidates who have who qualify the PST and PET.
The final result will announced after medical examination. On the basis of SSC GD Constable result of CBE, candidates will be called for PST/PET. PET/PST and medical examination are qualifying in nature. The final result along with force allocation will be declared by SSC based on the performance of candidates in the Computer Based Examination. The cut off is the minimum qualifying marks a candidate must obtain to qualify the exam. SSC GD Constable cut off of written exam and final is released separately by the commission. To be eligible to appear for next stage of selection process, candidates must score equal to or above the cut off released by the commission.
