Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC GD Constable 2026 notification on December 1, 2025 on the official website, ssc.gov.in. The SSC GD application form 2026 has been released along with the notification. Candidates can submit the SSC GD constable application form until December 31, 2025. Candidates can make the SSC GD fee payment until January 1, 2026. The SSC GD constable exam 2026 is scheduled to be conducted between February - April 2026.
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts SSC GD Constable exam for recruitment of Constable (General Duty) in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Border Security Force (BSF), National Investigation Agency (NIA), Rifleman in Assam Rifles, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
There are three exam stages for the selection process - Written exam, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST), and Medical examination. Class 10th candidates between 18 to 23 years old are eligible to apply for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024. Those who submit the application form successfully will be issued an SSC GD admit card for the CBT exam.

SSC GD Constable Staff Selection Commission GD Constable Exam (session 2026)
The SSC GD Constable 2026 answer key is released in online mode at ssc.gov.in. The answer key of SSC GD Constable 2026 is released in two parts - provisional and final. The commission also released the response sheet of the candidates so that candidates can check their answers.
Aspirants must check the SSC GD eligibility criteria before filling the online application form to be eligible for SSC GD Constable exam.

The commission has activated the SSC GD constable application form on December 1, 2025 on the official website. The SSC GD constable 2026 application form last date is December 31, 2025. Candidates must submit all their details correctly.
For the candidates who do not have an Aadhar card can fill the details of any ID like PAN, Voter Card, Passport, School/College ID, Driving License, Employer ID or left thumb impression. The application fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs. 100 while ST/SC and female candidates are exempted from fee payment.
Steps to fill SSC GD Constable Application Form
The application form of SSC GD Constable is filled in 2 parts – Part 1 and Part 2.
Part 1 - Registration
In part 1 of registration, candidates have to fill the basic details like name, date of birth, father’s name etc. and click on “I Agree” button to proceed further. The registration number is generated after final submission of part 1 registration which the candidates’ must note down.
Part 2 – Registration
To proceed further for Part 2 registration of SSC GD Constable application form, candidates need to register through a registration ID and password. Candidates have to upload the signature and photograph and pay the requisite application fee. It is always advised to keep a copy of application form printout for further references.

The exam of SSC GD Constable is different for all three stages. SSC GD Constable CBE comprises of multiple choice questions. The CBE has four sections - General Knowledge and General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, English/Hindi and Elementary Mathematics. Each paper carries 20 questions carrying 40 marks.

Candidates can download the SSC GD constable admit card 2026 from the regional official website. The SSC GD admit card download direct link is available stage-wise. To download the admit card, candidates have to enter the candidate name and date of birth or roll number/registration.
Candidates who successfully fill the application form are issued the admit card for computer-based examination. The admit card for PST/PET is issued to the candidates who qualify the CBT whereas the admit card for medical examination will only be issued to those candidates who qualify PST/PET.
