CGPSC result 2023 - Stages of UPPSC result

CGPSC declares the result of CGPSC 2023 exam stage-wise after the respective stage is concluded. Candidates qualifying in the prelims CGPSC exam will be eligible to appear in mains followed by the interview. After the CGPSC interview is over, the exam conducting authority will release the final CGPSC result 2023 which will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by candidates in mains exam and Interview. The stages of UPPSC result 2023 are as follows:

CGPSC result 2023 - Prelims CGPSC result

The prelims is the first stage of the exam. Candidates who have received the admit card of CGPSC can appear in the prelims exam. CGPSC will declare the CGPSC result 2023 for prelims exam which will consist of the roll number of all qualified candidates eligible to appear in mains. The prelims exam of CGPSC comprises two papers – General Studies paper 1 and 2. Each GS paper is of 200 marks which have to be attempted in 2 hours. And for each incorrect answer, there is ⅓ negative marking in both these papers. The preliminary stage is just qualifying in nature.

CGPSC Result 2023 - Mains CGPSC result

The mains is the second stage of the CGPSC recruitment process. The CGPSC mains exam is descriptive in nature and there is no negative marking. It has a total of 7 papers with 1400 marks. The result of the CGPSC mains exam is declared on the basis of candidates performance in exam and how well they write the answers. Based on the mains CGPSC performance, candidates will be called to appear in the CGPSC interview.

UPPSC PCS Result 2023 - Final UPPSC result

The final selection of candidates in CGPSC 2023 will be done on the basis of their performance in the mains and personality test. CGPSC will also release the cut off marks for each stage. The final merit list will also be prepared on the basis of total marks of candidates in the main and interview. Allotment of various services of the CGPSC will also be done on the basis of the final result.

CGPSC Cut Off 2023

The cut off marks of CGPSC are the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to score to qualify the exam. Candidates need to score equal to or more than the cut off marks in order to stand their chances for qualification. Candidates scoring the minimum qualifying marks in each stage of the CGPSC recruitment process will become eligible to be recruited as per the vacancies.
