Hello,

According to the official notification regarding the eligibility criteria, the candidate must have 50% in their undergraduate degree, it could be BA, BCom, BSc, BEd depending upon the field you choose as a TGT or JBT. Since, you scored 49.9%, you are not eligible to apply. Although there is no upper age limit, you need to satisfy all of the eligibility criteria.

For HP TET a minimum of 45% aggregate is required for all who have graduated before 2010..

So you can appear in HP TET TGT...

But for JBT minimum of 50% aggregate and 2 year JBT certificate is also required.

So in my opinion you can't appear for HP TET JBT...

Hi Piyush!

No, it is not mandatory to complete 12th from Himachal Board for HPTET 2021. The eligibility criteria says that :

candidate must have atleast 50% in senior secondary level and a diploma degree in Elementary Education
The candidates who possess 45% in graduation and have passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) are also eligible.
