TNTET 2020 - Teachers Recruitment Board, Tamil Nadu has released the tentative dates of TNTET 2020 exam on January 22. As per ta short notice released, the notification of TNTET 2020 will be released on May 4 in online mode at trb.tn.nic.in. Eligible candidates will be able to fill the application form of TNTET 2020 in the first week of May in online mode. Along with the filing of application form, candidates will also have to pay the prescribed application fees within the allotted time frame. Candidates who will fill the application form successfully will be able to download TNTET admit card 2020 ten days prior to the day of exam. TNTET 2020 exam is scheduled to be held on June 27 and 28, 2020, the result of which is expected to be out by July 2020.
TNTET is conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidates as teachers in classes 1 to 8. The test will be held in offline mode for two papers - Paper I (for classes 1 to 5) and paper II for classes 6 to 8). Both paper I and II will be held for a total of 150 marks for 1 marks each. TNTET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The examination authority determines the eligibility criteria of TNTET 2020 exam for all aspiring candidates. It is important for the candidates to meet TNTET eligibility criteria 2020 to avoid rejection at the later stage of the selection process. The eligibility criteria of TNTET 2020 is determined on the basis of the age and education qualification of the candidates.

Graduation with not less than 45% marks and have passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.

TNTET Application Form 2020

Candidates can fill online application form of TNTET from May 2020. All applicants will be able to fill the application form in online mode till April 2020. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria before they start filling the TNTET application form. Candidates must have the following particulars ready with them before they start filling TNTET application form:

  • Scanned passport size photograph ((JPG/JPEG /PNG format of size 20-60 kB)

  • Scanned copy of signature (JPG/JPEG/PNG format of size 10-30 kB)

  • Active mobile number and email ID.

  • Bank details

Along with the filling of application form, candidates must also pay the prescribed application fee as per their category. General candidates will have pay Rs. 500 whereas SC, SCA, ST and PWD candidates will have to pay Rs. 250.

TNTET 2020 Exam Pattern

The examination authority prescribes exam pattern of TNTET in official for all the candidates who wish to appear for the exam. By going through TNTET exam pattern 2020, candidates will know the sections from where the questions can be asked in the exam, total number of questions asked, marks distribution, duration of exam etc.

TNTET Exam Pattern 2020 - Paper I

  • Contain question from 5 sections - Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1 (Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam/Kannada/Urdu, Language 2 – English, Mathematics and Environmental Studies.

  • The test for paper I will contain a total of 150 questions of 1 mark each.

  • Candidates will be given 3 hours to complete the test.

  • No marks will be deducted for any wrong response given by the candidate.

TNTET Exam Pattern 2020 - Paper II

  • Paper II will contain questions from four sections - Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1 (Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam/Kannada/Urdu), Language 2 – English, and i) For Maths and Science/Social Science

  • The test will be held for a total of 150 questions of 1 mark each. Candidates will be allotted 3 hours to complete the test.

  • No negative marking.

TNTET Admit Card 2020

Candidates who will fill the application form successfully can download admit card of TNTET from the official website. The admit card will be issued in the last week of April 2020 and candidates will be able to download the admit card till the date of exam. To download the admit card, candidates will have to use their login credentials. The admit card of TNTET will contain the details related to candidates and the examination - name if the candidates, date of birth, registration number, roll number, date and time of examination, paper for which the test has to be taken, exam centre details. Candidates must take a print of the admit card and bring it to the exam centre on the day of exam. Along with the admit card, candidates must also bring one of the prescribed photo ID proofs - Aadhaar card, Voter ID card, Driving license, PAN card, Passport. No candidates will be allowed to take test without the admit card and the prescribed photo ID proof.

In order to download the admit card of TNTET, candidates must follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 3: Enter user ID and password

TNTET Answer Key 2020

Candidates can check the answer key of TNTET 2020 after the successful completion of exam. TNTET answer key 2020 will contain the correct answers to all the questions asked in the exam. By going through the answer key of TNTET, candidates will be able to calculate their expected marks and thus predict their chances to qualify for the test. Candidates can also raise objections in case of discrepancies in the answer key. After scrutinising the provisional answer key, the exam authority will release the final TNTET answer key 2020 on the basis of which the final result will be announced.

TNTET 2020 Result

The authority will announce the result of TNTET in online mode for both the papers. TNTET result 2020 can be checked by the candidates by using their login credentials. The TNTET result 2020 will contain the marks scored by the candidates and the qualifying status. All those candidates who score 60% marks (general category) and 55% marks (SC/ST and PWD category) in the TNTET exam will be considered qualified.

TNTET Cut Off 2020

It is to be noted that the cut off of TNTET is the minimum qualifying marks that is determined by the examination authority in order to shortlist the candidates to the next level of the selection process. TNTET cut off 2020 will be determined category wise for each paper.

TNTET 2020 Merit List

After the declaration of TNTET result conducting authority will release the merit list for all the candidates who are shortlisted for final selection. The merit list of TNTET 2020 will be released separately for paper 1 and paper 2. Tamil Nadu teachers recruitment board will issue certificates to all qualified candidates and it will remain valid for 7 years from the date of declaration of result.

see the eligibility criteria differs to paper wise ,

for paper 1, candidate need to have bed in nursery tearchers training or diploma in elementary education,

for paper 2, candidate need to have a graduation degree in ba/bsc/b.lit degree with the subjects of tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History and Geography with 10+2+3 pattern from a recognized university.

The Tamil Nadu Teachers' Entrance Test will  be held in May 2020. You are eligible for both Paper-1 and paper-2 of this examination. however,, you need to complete a B.Ed, 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or a Diploma in Special Education.

Eligibility criteria for appearing TNTET for Secondary School Teacher requires a candidates to have a Graduation degree with B.Ed with at least 50 % marks.
Without doing B.Ed you cant appear in TET examination.

No you are not eligible fot TNTET exam for both paper 1 ad papet 2.

because for paper 1

candidate have passed 12th and must completed their d .l .ed that means diploma in elementary education.

for paper 2

a candidate have passed his bachelor's degree and must completed b. ed that means bachelor's in education
