Which Situation or Where SP or SSP (IPS) Officers is More Powerful than DC or DM (IAS)?

sreemoyeebha 13th Jun, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

Please look into it carefully …..

I think this will help you…

The job profile for both of the IAS and IPS services is very broad and both are posted on the powerful posts, An IPS has only the responsibility of its department, An IPS can change rules, for protecting the country and making the situation safe for all, but an IPS officer can take action after a complaint has been logged, but an IAS has the responsibility of all the departments of the district only. An IAS is a part of the administrative setup. They generally handles governmental affairs and public administration. An IAS generally holds designations like cabinet secretary, undersecretary, joint secretary etc. An IAS officer can take action against a problem without any complaint being logged.

All the very best for your future

I hope this will help you...

Hi

Yes , you can definitely become an IAS officer even if you choose Arts after your 10th.

This is because,

To become an IAS officer one needs to clear UPSC civil services examination and to be eligible for that one needs to be a graduate in any discipline .

So, it doesn't matter whether you choose arts commerce or Science for 10+2 , and also you free to can choose any degree for your graduation after 10 + 2 .

Moreover, in comparison to  other streams, arts is more beneficial for you if you want to become an IAS officer as in arts you get to study History ,economics ,political science etc which are a part of UPSC syllabus

So, first you need to complete your 12th then get admission in graduation and along with your graduation you can start your preparation for UPSC civil services examination which consists of three stages prelims mains and interview following the below tips:-

Hello, .

UPSC Civil Service Exam has mainly three stages-

Preliminary : This is the first Stage, it's a MCQs based exam, it has two papers and each one consists of 200 marks, its numbers ain't added to final list, you just need to score the required cut offs against your category.

You just need to score the required cut offs against your respective category.

Second Paper is CSAT which is qualifying by nature, you need to score merely 33% which is 66 marks out of 200, it includes following topics such as

basic numeracy, comprehension, logical reasoning and analytical ability, general mental ability, decision making and problem solving, interpersonal skills including communication skills.

after 12 board pcm how we can choose course for ias

Subhrajit Mukherjee 3rd Jun, 2021

I don't think there are any course namely for IAS. You can pursue any subject you want as you need to have a graduation degree only. Now the IAS is entirely dependent on the preparation. So if you can prepare well the coursework doesn't matter. If you see the syllabus then you may think that Arts students gets a lot of benefit but let me assure you that is not the case and if it is true then every year a lot of Engineers or doctors or science students will not be able to crack it. So you should study what you like to study and which will not feel like a burden to you because if your college subject became a burden for you then the UPSC Preparation will hamper. So choose wisely what you want to pursue by judging your potential and interest.
