Who can take UGC NET 2017?
The UGC NET 2017 November session exam can be taken up by candidates who have Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC. Candidates need to have Postgraduate/Master’s Degree in in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science &Applications, Electronic Science etc. The minimum marks required to become eligible for UGC NET November session 2017 for General Category candidates is 55% while the minimum marks of 50% is required for Other Backward Classes(OBC) belonging to non-creamy layer/Scheduled Caste(SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/ persons with disability(PWD) category candidates.

UGC NET 2017 November session result has been announced. Candidates can check the result of UGC NET 2017 from the link given above. The result of UGC NET November session 2017 indicates whether or not a candidate has qualified for assistant professorship and JRF (Junior Research Fellow). Candidates who have scored the minimum qualifying marks for UGC NET 2017 of November session has been declared as passed in the exam. CBSE has also released the subject wise cutoff of UGC NET 2017. Candidates can check their qualifying status for UGC NET 2017 of November session by logging in using their application id/ number, roll number and date of birth through the link given above. As per the official notification, the cut off marks for UGC NET 2017 has been determined as 40% for general category in paper I & II and 50% in Paper III while OBC/SC/ST category candidates need to secure 35% in paper I & II and 40% in Paper III. For candidates who have qualified UGC NET 2017, a merit list will also be prepare subject- wise and category-wise using the aggregate marks of all the three papers secured by such candidates. Only top 15% candidates (for each subject and category) as per the merit list will be declared UGC NET qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professorship. A separate merit list for the JRF will be prepared from amongst the top 15% candidates UGC NET qualified candidates.
Candidates need to score minimum marks as prescribed by the examination authority CBSE to qualify the entrance exam. Candidates must secure qualifying marks as determined for their category to pass the UGC NET 2017. The table given below shows the UGC NET Cut off Score 2017. Besides this minimum required cutoff, CBSE has also released the subject-wise cutoff. Only those candidates who have scored at least the cutoff score will be declared qualified for Assistant Professorship.

The answer key of CBSE UGC NET 2017 for November session was released by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in December 2017. The candidates who appeared in UGC NET November session 2017 examination held on November 5 could download the scanned images of OMR answer sheets and answer keys as released by CBSE. Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit for applying for eligibility for Assistant Professor
Candidates need to have Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC

CBSE has announced the application notification of UGC NET November session 2017. The application form of CBSE UGC NET 2017 November session begins from August 11, 2017. The candidates fulfilling eligibility criteria can fill online application form of UGC NET November session 2017 before the last date i.e. September 11, 2017. The UGC NET 2017 application form can be filled in online mode only as no other mode of application will be accepted. Before proceeding to fill up the UGC NET Application Form 2017 for November examination, candidates must read instructions carefully to avoid errors in the application form. Basically, the registration will be of 4 step procedure. The first step will be registration for the exam where candidates can fill in the on-line application and obtain the registration number.
