OPSC Notification 2019 – Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released the OPSC 2019 notification for all aspiring candidates of Odisha on November 5. OPSC notification 2019 has been released for the recruitment of candidates in Group A and B. OPSC notification mentions the important dates related exam, vacancies, available posts, eligibility criteria, exam pattern etc. As per the notification of OPSC 2019, the application form will be available from November 13, 2019. The last date to fill the application form is December 10, 2019. However, the application fee can be paid till December 16.

OPSC Notification 2019 - Eligibility Criteria

The examination authority has determined the eligibility criteria of OPSC 2019 exam on the basis of age, name, education qualification and number of attempts.

Nationality: Candidates must be a citizen of India in order to become eligible to apply forOPSC 2019 exam.

Age: Candidates must be between 21 to 32 years of age as on January 1, 2019.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognised university. He/She must be able to read, write and speak Odia.

Number of Attempts: Candidates are permitted four attempts. However, there is no limit in attempts for SC and ST candidates. The number of attempts for socially backward classes is 7.

OPSC 2019 Notification - Application Form

The exam authority will release the application form of OPSC on November 13, 2019. Candidates will be able to fill the OPSC application form 2019 till December 10, 2019 while the payment of application fee can be done till December 16, 2019. The application form must be paid in offline mode by through SBI bank challan.

OPSC Notification 2019 - Exam Pattern

The exam authority has prescribed the exam pattern of OPSC for both prelims and mains examination. OPSC exam pattern 2019 contains the sections from where the questions will be asked, number of questions, mode of exam, duration etc.

  • The preliminary examination consists of two objective type papers carrying 200 marks each.

  • The qualifying percentage for General Studies II of preliminary exam is 33 %.

  • Each paper of prelims exam is held for 2 hours.

  • The mains exam of OPSC comprises optional and compulsory papers.

  • The compulsory papers carries 1400 marks while total marks allotted for optional papers are 1200.

  • Duration of mains exam is 3 hours for each paper.

  • The Personality Test or Interview carries 250 marks

OPSC 2019 Notiifcation - Selection Process

Odisha Civil Services comprises Preliminary, Mains examination and Personality Test or Interview. Candidates qualifying the preliminary examination will be called for the mains exam. The marks of preliminary examination will not be conducted for the final merit list. On the basis of candidate’s performance in the mains exam, selection will be done for Personality Test or Interview. Final selection will be based on the total marks secured by candidates in mains exam and personality Test or Interview.

Hi Bibhas,

NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET), is the national level entrance exam conducted every year by one of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for taking admissions on merit basis to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme.

This exam works across the NITs located in Agartala, Allahabad, Kurukshetra, Calicut, Raipur, Warangal, Surathkal, Durgapur, Trichy, Jamshedpur, Bhopal and Kurukshetra.

The application form of NIMCET 2020 will be released soon through which the candidates can fill the form and appear in the entrance exam. NIMCET admit card will also be released to be downloaded by candidates. The exam will be conducted in offline mode and the result of the same will be declared on the official website of NIMCET 2020.

Total 809 seats are available and duration of exam is 2 hours.
