OPSC Notification 2018 – Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released OPSC notification for recruitment to the posts and services under Odisha Civil Services (Group A and B). As many as 218 vacancies will be filled through Odisha Civil Services exam. Online application process for Odisha Civil Services has started on September 3, 2018. As per OPSC notification, candidates to be eligible for this exam must be a graduate and should be between 21 to 32 years of age. OPSC Notification 2018 - Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are required to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to be eligible for the exam.
Nationality as OPSC Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be a citizen of India
Age Limit as OPSC Eligibility Criteria
The age of applicants should be 21 to 32 years as on January 1, 2018. They must not have born earlier than January 2, 1986 and not later January 1, 1997.
Educational Qualification as OPSC Eligibility Criteria 2018
Candidates must have passed graduation from a recognised university. He/She must be able to read, write and speak Odia.
Number of attempts
Candidates is permitted four attempts. However, there is no limit in attempts for SC and ST candidates. The number of attempts for socially backward classes is 7.

Fill all the details like number of attempts, preferences of languages, examination zone, Aadhaar number, basic details, contact details, application fee amount, educational qualification, preferences of posts and upload photograph, signature and left thumb impression.
Submit the application form
Unique registration number will be generated and displayed on the screen.
Mode of payment
Odisha Public Service Commission Pattern of Test
The preliminary examination consists of two objective type papers carrying 200 marks each.
The qualifying percentage for General Studies II of preliminary exam is 33 %.
Each paper of prelims exam is held for 2 hours.
The mains exam of OPSC comprises optional and compulsory papers.
The compulsory papers carries 1400 marks while total marks allotted for optional papers are 1200.
Duration of mains exam is 3 hours for each paper.
The Personality Test or Interview carries 250 marks
Odisha Public Service Commission Selection Process
Odisha Civil Services comprises Preliminary, Mains examination and Personality Test or Interview. Candidates qualifying the preliminary examination will be called for the mains exam. The marks of preliminary examination will not be conducted for the final merit list. On the basis of candidate’s performance in the mains exam, selection will be done for Personality Test or Interview. Final selection will be based on the total marks secured by candidates in mains exam and personality Test or Interview.
