UPSC Civil Services Exam
For eligibility to answer UPSC exam, you need to be an Indian citizen, be a degree-holder and be of age 21-32 years old.
There are three rounds of examinations which are held.
First is the preliminary round. This has two written exams of 200 marks each. For paper-1, you need to have a very in-depth knowledge of India and her culture, mythology, art, geography, political systems etc. for paper-2, one needs to have excellent reasoning and logical sense along with English Proficiency.
Second comes the Mains round. It consists of a nine-paper written examination on General Studies 1, 2, 3, 4, English, Essay, one Indian language from a list provided and two papers on a subject to be selected by the candidate.
The interview, also called the "Personality Test", very minutely measures the candidate's professional conduct and decorum.
Upon passing this rigorous ordeal, the candidate is granted a job in one of the Indian Administrative Services.

Coaching institute are not eligible for granting any kind degree to students . They are not affiliated under UGC, AiCTE or any other similar organization. The academy you mentioned is also a coaching institute therefore it will provide only coaching not any integrated degree .

it does not matter whether you do your bachelors degree in technical science or as general science or from arts, commerce or any other field. the eligibility criteria is you need to have graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. for a general candidate age limit is 32 year and for sc/st it is 37 year. for obc candidate it is 35 years.
Cadre allocation is done while training on the basis of
1)Rank one has secured in UPSC civil service examination
2) Vacancy available in state - for insider as well as outsider
3) Category of candidate i.e. General, SC, ST or OBC
4) Preference of candidate as submitted in daf during application

Eligibility criteria for UPSC is Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university, in addition to have attained 21 years age.
UPSC syllabus is more inclined towards humanities subject, that's evident from Prelims and Mains syllabus, even through science is a part of it but in a limited way.
To answer your question, it depends on a lot of thing, first are you a science student and want to continue with this stream, if yes please go ahead, you can manage UPSC syllabus, also you can select science subjects as optionals, people from engineering background too have cracked UPSC with science optionals.This stream opens avenues in different sectors as well such as corporate ones.
However, if you're more inclined towards humanities subject and feel having studied this will help you in UPSC preparation, it definitely will be an added advantage to you. Because you'll be more familiar with arts subject which is essence of UPSC syllabus. Choose this only if you have only one aim in life that is to crack UPSC. In this sense, you'll be more clear and focused about your goal since starting.

Go through the previous question papers : Go through with previous year papers as it will give you an idea about the exam.
Make your own notes : It is always advisable to make notes of the related topics as you go through the books and other study material. A well drafted note solves two purposes.
Strategy for General Studies: General studies paper is equally important for Prelims and Mains examination.
History : It is a huge section & Also emphasis is given to Ancient India. A cursory glance over the medieval history is also necessary.
Geography: In this there are physical geography and maps related questions. So get yourself well-acquainted with maps with the help of a good Atlas.
General Science : It covers a major chunk of this paper and a standard guidebook can make you well-versed on the topics of general science.
Current affairs : Going through a standard newspaper daily can keep you updated on the current affairs topics.

For being able to give UPSC CSE examination you need not to be e any specific graduate you can just pursue your graduation in any stream and can be eligible to give the examination.
Mo st of the people pursue Bachelor in Arts and start preparing for UPSC examination as it coincide with most of the syllabus with the examination or you can do some other graduation too which works as your plan b like BTech BCA as these are job oriented courses and after completing these things you can go for UPSC preparation.
