Get UpdatesHP TET 2024 - Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education will release the HP TET application form 2024 for June session on May 4. The HP TET 2024 exam for June session will be conduced on June 22, 23, 30 and July 2, 2024 and November session will be conducted on November 15, 17, 24 & 26, 2024. The HP TET 2024 admit card will be released one week before the exam date tentatively.
All candidates must go through the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The eligibility criteria of HP TET are based on two factors – age and educational qualification. Eligible candidates can apply for various teaching departments – Shastri, Language Teacher, Punjabi, Urdu, JBT, TGT (Non-Medical/Medical/Arts). HP TET exam is conducted for all the candidates who wish to teach in primary and elementary classes.
HP TET exam is conducted in offline mode and the exam pattern is different for each department. Candidates who qualify HP TET 2024 exam will be awarded the HP TET eligibility certificate. The certificate will be valid for lifetime years and candidates can apply for various teaching posts from class- I to VIII in the schools of Himachal Pradesh.

The HP TET 2024 application form for June session will be released May 4. While entering the basic details candidates must be careful as the details entered in the application form will be used in admit card. Also, candidates must go through the eligibility criteria in order to avoid rejection at any later stage.
Before the candidates start filling the HP TET application form, they must keep the following ready with them – email ID, contact number, class 10 th certificate, scanned photograph and signature and card details to pay the online fee. In order to fill the HP TET Application form, candidates must follow these steps:
Step 1 - Filling Up of Basic Details
Candidates are required to fill in detail such as name, date of birth, father’s/mother’s name, subject that the candidate wishes to appear, contact number, email ID, category etc.
Step 2 - Uploading Photograph and Signature
After filling all the required details, candidates will have to upload their scanned photograph and signature as per the prescribed specifications.

Step 3 – Payment of Application Fee
After completing all the process, candidates will have to pay the application fee of HP TET by using Credit Card/Debit Card or Internet Banking.

Step 4 – Printout of HP TET Application form
Before final submission, candidates must go through the filled application form in order to avoid any errors. They need to put a tick mark against the declaration to submit the form. After final submission candidates must take a printout of the filled application form and save it for future reference.
Note: The details entered in the HP TET Application form can be edited only till the payment of fees. After the payment, candidates will not be able to make any changes.

The HP TET admit card 2024 for the June session will be released online on the official website. Candidates who have successfully submitted their application form can download their admit card. To access the HP TET admit card, candidates have to enter their application number and date of birth in the dd-mm-yyyy format in the login window.
The admit card of HP TET has details such as name, photograph, signature, roll number, the address of the examination hall and timings of the exam. Candidates who can't write the HP TET exam, in case they do not have their admit card. In case of any discrepancies in the downloaded admit card must immediately contact the authorities.

HPBOSE will release the HP TET 2024 answer key on the official website. The board will provide the HP TET answer key challenge facility for a certain time period. To challenge the answer key of HP TET, candidates need to send valid proof to claim their answer.
The final answer key will be published only after the authorities have evaluated all the challenged answer key. Candidates can check the correct responses to the questions asked in the entrance exam. Based on the correct and incorrect answers, candidates can calculate their probable scores obtained in HP TET.
Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) will declare the result of HP TET exam 2024 in online mode soon on the official website. Candidates can check their results by entering roll number or application number.
HP TET result contains the name, roll number, application number, category and total marks. After the announcement of result, candidates are awarded TET eligibility certificate which is valid for lifetime. All the eligible candidates can then apply for class I to VIII in the schools of Himachal Pradesh.

According to the official notification regarding the eligibility criteria, the candidate must have 50% in their undergraduate degree, it could be BA, BCom, BSc, BEd depending upon the field you choose as a TGT or JBT. Since, you scored 49.9%, you are not eligible to apply. Although there is no upper age limit, you need to satisfy all of the eligibility criteria.

For HP TET a minimum of 45% aggregate is required for all who have graduated before 2010..
So you can appear in HP TET TGT...
But for JBT minimum of 50% aggregate and 2 year JBT certificate is also required.
So in my opinion you can't appear for HP TET JBT...
