RBI Grade B Officer 2019 - Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the notification of RBI Grade B 2019 exam for all aspiring candidates. The notification has been released for the recruitment at 199 vacancies of Grade B Officers in three departments (DR) General, (DR) DEPR & (DR) DSIM. As per the notification, the application form of RBI Grade B is available from September 21, 2019. Candidates between 21 to 30 years of age as on September 1, 2019 holding the required educational qualification can fill the form till October 11, 2019. The authority will issue the admit card of RBI Grade B ten days before the scheduled day of exam. RBI Grade B exam is conducted for two stages - prelims and mains. RBI Grade B 2019 prelims exam is slated to be held on November 9, 2019 while the mains exam is slated to be conducted on December 1 and 2, 2019.The phase I of RBI Grade B, the test is conducted for one paper for all three departments. In phase II, there are three papers - I, II and III for (DR) General, and two papers - paper II and III for (DR) DEPR & (DR) DSIM. Candidates who qualify in both the stages of RBI Grade B exam will have to appear in the Interview. Candidates who qualify in the interview round will be shortlisted for the final recruitment and will be paid a remuneration of ₹ 35,150 per month along with various allowances. A minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PwBD) or an equivalent grade in Bachelor's degree as well as in 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th Standard examinations.
Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) - DEPR
A Master's Degree in Economics/Econometrics/Quantitative Economics/Mathematical Economics/Integrated Economics Course/Finance, with a minimum of 55% marks.
Note: SC, ST and PwBD candidates having second class with a minimum of 50% marks.
Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) - DSIM
Master degree in statistics/mathematical statistics/mathematical economics/econometrics/statistics & informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/applied statistics & informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks.
RBI has released the application form of RBI Grade B on September 21, 2019 in online mode. Candidase must fill the application form along with the payment of application fee of Rs. 800 for general and OBC and Rs 100 for the reserved category candidates. In order to fill the form, candidates will have to register, fill details, upload scanned image and signature and pay the prescribed application fees.

1. Nationality: The candidates who wish to apply for this exam must be either-
A citizen of India
A subject of Nepal or Bhutan
Tibetan Refugees who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement
Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India.
Note: Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt of India in their favor.
2. Age Limits:
The minimum age limit to apply for this exam is 21 years, whereas the upper age limit is 30 years. For candidates with M.Phil. Degree, the upper age limit is 32 years and for candidates holding Ph.D. Degree, it is 34 years.

Candidates having Master’s Degree along with Research/Teaching experience at a recognized Indian/Foreign University/Institute will be eligible for upper age limit relaxation up to a maximum of three years.
For Officers in Gr B (DR) DSIM:
(a) A Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in the aggregate of all the semesters; OR
(b) Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the aggregate of all semesters/years and one year post graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from a reputed institute; OR
(c) M. Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate of all semesters/years; OR
(d) Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in the aggregate of all semesters/years.
Candidates having Master’s Degree along with Research/Teaching experience at a recognized Indian/Foreign University/ Institute will be eligible for upper age limit relaxation up to a maximum of three years.
