APSET 2020 - Certification Verification (From 15 March), Answer Key, Score Card, Result, Cutoff
APSET 2020- Andhra University, Visakhapatnam announced the certificate verification schedule on the official website. The qualified candidates need to appear for document verification from March 15-18, 2021. Earlier, the result of APSET 2021 was released on February 22, 2021 . After the declaration of result, Subject-wise and category wise APSET cut off 2020 is available on the website. Earlier, the authority closed the objection window of APSET 2020 answer key. Earlier, the conducting authority released the APSET 2020 provisional answer key on the official website on December 22, 2020. Candidates got chance to raise the objection till October 24, 2020(5pm). The APSET 2020 exam was conducted on December 20, 2020. The APSET 2020 admit card was available from December 12, 2020 to December 20, 2020. The exam notification of APSET 2020 was released on August 9, 2020 and candidates could fill up APSET application form 2020 on the official website from August 14, 2020. In order to fill up APSET 2020 application form, candidates are required to meet the APSET eligibility criteria 2020. Candidates who have completed their Masters Degree with at least 55% marks are eligible to apply for APSET 2020. APSET 2020 will be held on a single day for 2 papers on December 20, 2020. Paper I i.e. General is compulsory for all candidates. For paper II, candidates will be able to choose from 30 APSET 2020 subjects. APSET is conducted every year for recruitment of assistant professors in Universities/Degree colleges across the state of Andhra Pradesh. As per the guidelines prescribed by UGC, the top 6% of APSET candidates who score equal to or more than 40% (General category) and 35% (Reserve category) marks in aggregate will qualify.

APSET Result 2020
The result of APSET 2020 declared on the official website. APSET 2020 result declared in PDF format containing the roll numbers of the qualified candidates. Candidates can check result if their roll number is mentioned in the PDF or not by visiting the result section of APSET website. Within a few days from the declaration of result, APSET scorecard 2020 will be made available. Candidates will be able to check their individual APSET 2020 scorecard by visiting the official website. In order to check the scorecard of APSET 2020, a candidate will require to enter his/her login credentials- hall ticket number, date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format and the security key/ captcha code.
APSET Result 2020- Verification of Certificates
After the declaration of APSET 2020 result, qualified candidates will have to verify their certificates. Date, time and venue for verification of certificates will be published on the result section of the official website. Following documents are to be carried along for verification-

Note: Candidates who are studying in the final year of their PG course are required to submit a study certificate from the Head of the Institute.
APSET Cut off 2020
Subject-wise and category-wise cut off of APSET 2020 will be released after the declaration of the result. Candidates who qualify in the exam meeting APSET 2020 cut off will become eligible to apply for the post of assistant professor in colleges/universities of Andhra Pradesh. APSET cut off 2020 is the minimum mark required to qualify in the exam and it varies every year. There are three factors which the authorities consider to determine the cut off of APSET 2020- no. of applicants, no. of vacancies and difficulty label of the question paper.
APSET Eligibility Criteria 2020
In order to apply for the examination, candidates are required to meet APSET 2020 eligibility criteria set by the authorities. Eligibility criteria of APSET 2020 refers to minimum educational qualification, and age limit which enables a candidate to appear in the examination.
Educational qualification
Candidates with least 55% marks (General category) and 50% marks (Reserve category) in their Masters or any equivalent exam without rounding off from UGC recognized Institutions/ universities are eligible to sit for the exam.
Candidates who are in the last year/semester of their Masters/ integrated Masters or any equivalent exam from UGC recognized institutes/universities or whose results are awaited can sit for APSET 2020. However, such candidates will be required to pass their respective exams with least 55% marks (General category) and 50% marks (Reserve category). Failing to achieve this will result in disqualification from the examination.
There is no upper age limit for APSET 2020
Candidates who have passed in APSET/UGC NET previously are debarred from APSET 2020.
APSET Application form 2020
Candidates who meet the required eligibility criteria become eligible to fill APSET 2020 application form. The application form of APSET 2020 was available from August 14, 2020. Candidates were able to submit their APSET application form 2020 till September 5, 2020 by paying the registration fee of Rs 1200 (general), Rs 1000 (BC category), and Rs 700 (SC, ST, PWD and Transgender category). Candidates who submit their application form of APSET 2020 post October 5 had to pay the late fees. In order to fill up APSET 2020 application form, candidates are first required to register and generate their application ID. After generating the application ID, candidates will be required to fill in their personal, educational and other details and upload documents of the same to complete the application process.

APSET Exam Pattern 2020
Andhra University, Visakhapatnam will mention APSET 2020 exam pattern on the APSET website as per the UGC guidelines. There will be 2 papers in the exam pattern of APSET 2020. Paper I or the general paper is compulsory for all the candidates. For Paper II in APSET exam pattern, there are 30 subjects. Candidates who have a Masters degree in any of the 30 subjects with the required percentage of marks can apply for the exam. For Commerce, Economics, Education, History, Political Science, Public Administration and Sociology papers, candidates can choose English or Telugu as their medium of instruction. For the remaining papers, the medium of instruction is English only. Paper I in APSET 2020 exam pattern will have 50 questions for 100 marks and paper II will have 100 questions for 200 marks. Each question will carry 2 marks and there is no negative marking scheme in the exam pattern of APSET 2020. Total time allotted for paper I and paper II of APSET 2020 are 1 hour and 2 hours respectively.
