Hello,
Most individuals follow the herd and pick services based on the majority's preferences, without considering their own personality or life's purpose. If you go by what you've heard, IAS is the best option, followed by IPS and IRS.
IAS is best overall
IPS is most powerful
IRS
Atlast the choice is yours.
Hope it helped
Thank you
Dear student,
If we speak broadly then only the president of India can suspend an IAS officer after looking at the case.
But we must know that the central government has no less power, maybe it is not written on paper that it can suspend but central has rights to go through the matter and suggest what to do.
In case the suspension is permanent or more than a year then the central review committe is asked what to do in the case.
Now as you asked for what an IAS officer can be suspended then, it is very simple that law and administration is above anyone, no matter on which post a person is sitting but if someone violates the law, commit crimes then he/she will come under charge and so will happen to an IAS.
I hope this information helps you.

There are no combined degree programs with IAS coaching at Vision IAS Academy in Hyderabad. This is a specialized coaching center entirely dedicated to UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) preparation. Along with test series and interview training, their programs cover core courses for General Studies (GS), the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT), and several optional topics. Aimed at UPSC test candidates, these programs are meant to offer thorough coaching.
Other schools in Hyderabad provide courses for students looking for an integrated solution that combines IAS coaching with college degrees. For example, Ignite IAS offers a B.A. degree along with IAS Coaching in a 3 year integrated course. Students using this program are meant to prepare for the UPSC tests while also working on their degrees. It offers an organized curriculum in line with the needs of the civil services examination.
La Excellence also provides a 3-year "IAS + Graduation" course, combining level studies with intensive IAS coaching. Balancing education and exam preparation, this program seeks to get students ready for the UPSC tests in concert with their coursework.
Students who want to start their UPSC study early in their academic career will find these combined courses really helpful. Their organized surroundings let pupils concentrate on their subjects and IAS training at once, hence perhaps lessening the time and work needed to pass the UPSC tests.
From my own experience, I can assure you that Pragnya IAS Academy offers a three-year integrated program including a degree course and thorough IAS coaching since I have only now started a similar course. Students are meant to use this program to assist them strike a balance between civil service preparation and their academic work. Furthermore, Pragnya IAS Academy provides a 5-year integrated program combining intermediate studies with IAS coaching for pupils who have already passed their 10th grade. From an early age, this program seeks to establish a solid basis for preparation for civil services. Over 15 years, more than 250 students have passed UPSC tests from the academy, which is noted for its good success rate. One of the best in India, it also has a 25% pass rate among the Prelims class candidates on their first try.
Some programs that students considering such might want to study are those offered at Pragnya IAS Academy, Ignite IAS, or La Excellence. They provide combined degree and IAS coaching courses customized to candidates' requirements.
hi,
some of the institute name which offers degree with IAS coaching is as follows:
SHINE INDIA DEGREE & IAS ACADEMY
Pragnya IAS Academy
Krishna Pradeep’s 21st Century IAS
you may choose any institute above mentioned, but my suggestion is you should take admission to colleges which famous for its course curriculum and have fair students faculty ratio and Infrastructure. these coaching institute may be affiliated to university but quality of education for degree course is not best than the colleges. while you studying your bachelors after completing 10+2 you may join the IAS coaching with parallel to your bachelors course. IAS exam considered as one of the toughest exam , so there is no surety that you would crack it in first attempt. if you have a bachelors degree from a reputed institute where you would learn some skills relating with job you may make a career based on it. my point is just depends on the govt service exam only in current scenario of Job prospect in India is not a wise decision.
hope you understand.
Yes, you are eligible for IAS exam even if you have Nearsightedness that is myopia.
See, any minor physical problems is not a matter of concern in Indian Administrative Service but if someone is aspiring for Indian Police Service, then these things are checked.
Like you said you have Myopia(-4.5) so it is not a reason of being unfit for IAS post because you can see well by having spectacles but you should note that if someone have myopia with macular degenerative changes then he/she will be called unfit for service in the IAS.

Hi
After your 10th , can choose any of science ,commerce or arts stream based on your interest after your 10th for your 10 +2 and then for graduation if you want to become an IAS officer.
This is because,
to become an IAS officer you need to clear UPSC civil services examination and to be eligible for UPSC examination there is no compulsion to have done 10+2 in a particular stream , also there's no compulsion to be a graduate in a particular subject, all you need to be eligible is that you should be a graduate in any discipline , so you are free to do 10+2 and graduation in any subject.
But yes,
choosing Arts or the humanities in your 10+2 and graduation can be really helpful for your UPSC examination, this is because in Arts you will be learning subjects like history , polity etc which are a part of the UPSC syllabus so it will help you in your upsc examination.
To help you further here's a brief of your UPSC exam
UPSC civil services examination has 3 stages listed below :-
*prelims exam :- it is objective paper and is of qualifying nature , so you just need to at least qualify it to be eligible for mains examination, the score /marks obtained by you in your prelims examination is not added up or used in your final merit. Your prelims exam consist of 2 papers: -
-) general studies 1
-) general studies II ( csat )
You get 2 hours for each paper
*Mains exam. :- it is descriptive /written examination . There are a total of 9 papers which are listed below:-
-) compulsory indian language.
-) english
-) essay
-) general studies I
-) general studies II
-) general studies III
-) general studies IV
-) optional I
-) optional II
The compulsory indian language and english are qualifying in nature . You just need to qualify them. The marks obtained by you in these two papers will not be counted towards merit list.
*Interview :- After qualifying mains, you have to go through interview round, and it is more of test of your personality rather than knowledge.
So, if you manage to sail through all the three stages then congratulations you can become an ias officer depending upon rank obtained by you in UPSC civil services examination ,your preference of services and your category .

Hi,
If you belong to Humanities stream, you can begin with reading your own NCERT textbooks in details. The core basic of the UPSC CSE is started by reading the NCERTs to form a strong base. Even if you belong to other streams, at this phase, you can begin with just reading newspaper. It may appear to be simple, but, when you will start reading newspaper in your UPSC preparation, newspaper alone will take 2-3 hours to get the details. Read The Hindu and The Indian Express, slowly you will develop pace and can identify the important topics to be read. It can save your further time. Right now, just focus on your class 11 and 12 studies. If we see, it will be too early to prepare for the exam. UPSC prepares the syllabus accordingly and it will take a maximum of two years to complete the comprehensive syllabus including both Mains and Prelims. So, right now you can focus on your studies and can begin with newspaper reading.
