UPTET 2019 - Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has released the application form of UPTET 2019 on November 1 in online mode on updeled.gov.in. Candidates can fill UPTET application form 2019 from till November 20, 2019. It is to be noted that the application fee of UPTET can be paid in online mode till November 21. However, before registering for the exam, candidates must ensure that they are eligible to appear for the exam. UPTET eligibility criteria are provided by the exam body in the notification. After filling the application form, candidates must pay the requisite application fee to successfully apply for UPTET 2019. Candidates who successfully register for the exam will be issued admit cards on December 12, 2019. Candidates must carry a copy of the admit card on the day of UPTET 2019 exam failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the test.Latest: UP TET Application Form 2019 Released. UPTET examination is scheduled to be conducted on December 22, 2019, in various exam centres spread across 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The answer key of UPTET will be available on December 26, 2019. UPTET 2019 result will be announced on January 21, 2020.

Candidates can fill the application form of UPTET 2019 in online mode from November 1 to 20. After filling the application form, candidates have to pay the application fee. The fee for general and OBC category candidates is Rs. 600 while SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs. 400 as an application fee. The steps to fill the application form have been provided below.
Stages of UPTET Application Form
The eligibility criteria of the examination have been provided below for the convenience of candidates.
Nationality: Candidates should be citizens of India to be eligible for the exam
Age Limit: Candidates between 18 and 35 years of age are eligible to appear for the exam. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories can avail age relaxation. The age relaxation provided to candidates from reserved categories is as follows.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a graduation degree in specific fields with a minimum of 50%.
UPBEB will issue the admit card of UPTET 2019 in the online mode. UPTET admit card 2019 will be released prior to the commencement of the exam. The admit card will be issued to candidates who have applied successfully for the exam. The hall ticket will contain details pertaining to the exam such as the name of candidate, roll number, date, time and venue of the examination, exam day guidelines, and more. Steps to download UPTET admit card 2019
UPTET 2019 exam will be conducted in various districts of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates will be allotted exam centres on the basis of districts selected by candidates during the time of registration. Some of the important districts of the exam are given in the table below.

The exam pattern contains information pertaining to the examination including subjects, units, topics, total number of questions, sectional division of marks, weightage, duration, etc. As per UPTET exam pattern 2019, the exam comprises two papers, Paper 1 and 2. The exam will be conducted offline. Candidates who have applied for primary classes, i.e. Class 1 to 5 should attempt Paper 1 while candidates who have opted for upper primary classes (Class 6 to 8) have to appear for Paper 2. Both papers will contain a total 150 of questions. Each question carries 1 mark. Negative marking is inapplicable for the test and no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. Questions asked in the exam will be objective type and the candidates will be allotted 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the test. The exam pattern of Paper 1 and 2 are given below.

The Board will publish the official answer key on December 26 in online mode. The answer key will be published separately for the two papers – Paper 1 and 2. With the help of the answer key, candidates can check the number of correct and incorrect answers marked by them in the test. Based on the number of right and wrong responses, candidates can calculate their probable scores in the test. UPTET answer key 2019 will be available for all sets of the question paper.
The result of UPTET will be announced on January 21, 2020. To check UPTET result 2019, candidates will have to enter roll number in the login window. UPBEB will declare the result of the exam in December 2019. The result will contain information such as the name of the candidate, roll number, marks scored in the exam, qualifying status, etc. Candidates qualifying the exam stage will be provided an Eligibility Certificate.
The cut off is the minimum marks that candidates must secure in UPTET 2019 to qualify the examination. Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) will prescribe the qualifying cut off for the exam along with the notification. Candidates securing the minimum qualifying cut off in the exam will be issued UPTET Eligibility Certificate which makes them eligible to apply as teachers in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The qualifying cut off of the exam has been provided in the table below.
UPTET 2019 – Qualifying Cutoff
UPBEB conducts the examination in a single stage. Candidates having applied for primary classes (Class 1 to 5) have to appear in Paper 1 while candidates who have opted for upper primary classes (Class 6 to 8) will need to attempt Paper 2. Candidates securing the qualifying cut off in the exam or more will be issued eligibility certificate on the basis of which they can apply for the position of teacher in various schools of UP.
Candidates qualifying written exam are given UPTET eligibility certificates. The eligibility certificate is valid for 5 years. Candidates having received the eligibility certificate can apply for a teaching post in the schools of Uttar Pradesh. Qualified candidates can collect the eligibility certificates at the District Education Board and candidates have to submit their UPTET admit card and photo-identity proof to avail the same.
