About RBI Grade B Officer 2021

The RBI Grade B exam is conducted by Reserve Bank of India as per the vacancies available for the posts of  Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR) – General, Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR) – DEPR and Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR) – DSIM. Reserve Bank of India has released the notification of  RBI Officer Grade B for three posts on January 25, 2021 in online mode. The RBI Grade B application form is released on the official website on January 28, 2021. Candidates after checking the eligibility criteria can apply for all three posts till February 15, 2021. Candidates who filled the application form of RBI Grade B can download the RBI Grade B admit card 2021. The selection process for RBI Officer Grade ‘B’ (DR) – General, Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR) – DEPR and Officers in Grade ‘B’(DR) – DSIM includes two phases of online examination that are phase – I online examination and phase – II /paper – II and III online/written examination followed by interview. Candidates who qualify all the stage of selection process will be entitled to selected for the post of RBI Grade B recruitment.

RBI Grade B Officer 2021 Eligibility Criteria

RBI Officer Grade B Eligibility Criteria

Before filling the online application form, candidates must check the eligibility criteria of RBI Officer Grade B so that they cannot be disqualified at any later stage of the selection procedure. The eligibility criteria are prescribed by the exam conducting body which includes details such as nationality, age, educational qualification and number of attempts.

Eligibility Criteria: Nationality

All the candidates applying for RBI Officer Grade B must be a

  • Citizen of India
  • A subject of Bhutan
  • A subject of Nepal
  • or Tibetan refugee who came to India with an intention to settle permanently. Indian origin persons, migrated from Sri Lanka, Uganda, Burma, Pakistan, the United Republic of Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia, Tanzania to settle permanently in India.

Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

Candidates must be between 21 to 30 years of age to apply for RBI Officer Grade B. However, for the candidates who have qualified M.Phil and Ph.D. the upper age limit is 32 and 34 years respectively.

b) Also, candidates with Ph.D. and M.Phil degree from a recognized Indian or foreign institute can also apply for this post.

RBI Officer Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM

a) Candidates must have a master’s degree in Mathematical Economics/Econometrics/Statistics/Mathematical Statistics or master’s degree in Mathematics with a minimum aggregate of 55%  marks.
b) A PGDBA (Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics with minimum 55% marks from IIT Kharagpur, IIM Calcutta or ISI Kolkata

A degree from Indian Statistical Institute in M.Stat is needed with a minimum of 55% marks

RBI Officer Grade B Admit Card

The admit of RBI Officer Grade B has released the RBI Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – (General) and DEPR/DSIM for phase 1 in online mode on February 25.  Only those candidates who have successfully completed the application procedure will receive the admit card of RBI Officer Grade B. Along with the admit card, candidates have to carry one valid ID proof such as Pan Card, Aadhaar Card, Passport or Voter ID card to the assigned exam centres. The details that are given in the admit card are – name, roll number, registration number, gender, the address of the exam venue, time and important guidelines related to the exam.

Candidates could download their admit card by entering their roll number/registration number and password/date of birth in the login window on the official website. Candidates are advised to carry at least one ID proof such as Voter ID Card, Passport, Bank Passbook, Pan Card or Aadhar Card along with their admit card to the exam centres. The details given in the admit card of RBI Officer Grade B are - date of birth, name, gender, roll number, the address of the exam centre, and reporting time.

The admit card of RBI Officer Grade B Officer Grade B Interview is available now. Registered candidates are sent the Interview call letters to the registered candidates. RBI had released the admit card of RBI Officer Grade B 2019 phase II exam in online mode. Registered candidates can download their admit card of RBI Officer Grade B in online mode by entering roll number/registration number and password/date of birth. RBI Officer Grade B admit card can be downloaded separately for General, DSIM, and DEPR. The admit card of RBI Officer Grade B 2019 is released only for those candidates whose applications have been accepted by the RBI. It must be noted that RBI Officer Grade B admit card 2019 will not be sent to any candidates by any other means – post, courier, etc.

RBI Officer Grade B Result

RBI has released the RBI Grade B phase II result for DR General and DEPR & DSIM on May 4 and 31, 2021. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) releases the result of RBI Grade B 2021 separately for the all the phases of RBI grade B exam. RBI Grade B phase-I result will be tentatively released by the second week of March 2021. O. Candidates selected in the first phase have to undergo the phase - II (online/written examination) to get selected for the interview. After all the selection procedures, a final merit list will be prepared by Reserve Bank of India. The final selection will be done on the basis of marks obtained in phase – II and interview by the candidates and the result will be available on the official website of RBI.

RBI Officer Grade B Cut Off

All the appearing candidates for RBI Officer Grade B have to secure the minimum cut off marks in all the phases in order to get shortlisted for the next round of selection process. Candidates appearing for RBI Officer Grade B 2021 phase – I examination, have to secure the minimum qualifying marks to get shortlisted for the next phase. The minimum RBI Officer Grade B cut off marks for paper – II and paper – III is decided by RBI in accordance with the number of vacancies available.

RBI Grade B Officer 2021 Selection Process

RBI Officer Grade B Selection Procedure

The RBI Officer Grade B selection procedure includes – online/written exam and personal interview. Candidates have to write all the exams according to the post they have applied for to get shortlisted for the next phase. They need to qualify phase – I to appear for the phase – II examination. Those who qualify the phase – II examination will be called for a personal interview. The interview will be conducted for a total of 50 marks. Final selection will be based on the marks obtained in phase – II and interview by the candidates. For the candidates who have applied for the post of RBI Officers in Grade B (DR) - DEPR/DSIM will be selected on the basis of their marks obtained in online/written examination (WE) and interview.

  • Mark Sheet/Certificate of Class 10 and 12 examination
  • Certificate regarding degree/post-graduate/other examinations passed
  • Character certificate
  • Passport size photographs and one should attached to interview call letter
  • SC/ST/OBC categories must bring the Caste/Community certificate issued by the Competent Authority
  • Medical Certificate for physically challenged candidates

The eligibility for RBI Grade B Officer General is simply passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized University securing 60% aggregate, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories, or passed postgraduation from a recognized University securing 55% aggregate,

in case of RBI Grade B Offficer DEPR the eligibility criteria is passed Master's Degree in Economics /  Integrated Economics/Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Course/ Finance securing 55% aggregate or passed  PGDM/ MBA Finance with at least 55% aggregate,

UPSC examination is a civil service examination in India. If you crack this examination you will be become IPS, IAS, IFS , IRS etc  actually so many government position will be required from this examination.

This examination conducted by two phases one is preliminary and 2nd is mains. After clear both phase you have to clear the interview round and then you are selected. After selecting your training period is continuing for 2 years and then you are getting your job as government service officer. And during training period you also get paid from government because this time you are also a government trainee officer.

So many subjects you have to study for crack this examination like economics, law, anthropology, sociology, history, medical science, public administration, psychology, geology, commerce and accountancy, agriculture, philosophy, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, animal husbandry, current affairs etc.

For age limit candidate must be 21 years old and not less than that and upper age will be 32 years old. You have to complete your graduation degree minimum. This is the main eligibility criteria for UPSC examination.
