APPSC Group 1 Exam 2019 - Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has revised APPSC Group I mains exam dates. As per the latest notice, APPSC Group 1 mains exam will be held on February 4, 5, 7, 10, 12, 14 & 16, 2020 paper-wise. The result of APPSC Group 1 2019 prelims exam was declared on November 1. Candidates will be able to download their mains APPSC Group 1 admit card in January 2020. To download the admit card of APPSC Group 1 exam, candidates will have to enter the user id and mobile number. APPSC Group 1 exam 2019 screening test was held on May 26, 2019. APPSC Group 1 provisional answer key was released by the authority. Candidates who have secured the minimum cutoff marks are declared qualified to appear for the mains exam.
Final selection of candidates for APPSC Group 1 exam will be based on two successive stages including a written exam and oral test (interview). The total number of vacancies announced by APPSC is 125 whereas 44 vacancies have been carried forward this year. APPSC Group 1 2019 exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates to Group 1 services in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The result of APPSC Group 1 for screening test will be released in July 2019. Candidates will be able to check APPSC Group 1 result either by downloading the result pdf or by entering login credentials - user id and mobile number. Selected candidates in the preliminary exam will be shortlisted for mains. Based on the marks obtained by candidates in the mains exam, the shortlisting for the oral test will be done.
The cutoff of APPSC Group 1 is announced for the preliminary exam, mains exam and final selection. APPSC Group 1 cutoff will be available along with the declaration of result. Candidates will have to secure overall cutoff as minimum qualifying cutoff to be eligibile for next round of selection process.
The hall ticket of APPSC will be available in online mode. To download the admit card, candidates will have to enter the user id and mobile number. Candidates must ensure that all the details specified in APPSC Group 1 hall ticket are correct. Those candidates who have qualified the screening test will be issued admit card mains exam.
The exam conducting authority APPSC has released the provisional answer key of APPSC Group 1 for the screening test after the exam. Candidates will be able to check all the answers asked in the examination. In case of any discrepancy in the APPSC answer key, candidates are supposed to raise objections against the wrong answer key as per prescribed format is given on the official website of Authority. Candidates can raise the objection from May 28 to June 10 (5 pm). The commission will then get those answers rechecked by the experts and release the final answer key.
The preliminary exam includes one section (objective type), the main examination includes five papers (descriptive type) and Oral test in the form of Interview. Candidates who cleared the APPSC group 2 preliminary exam 2018 will be called for the main written exam

The Main exam will be conducted in offline mode (Conventional/Descriptive). There are totally five papers in the APPSC Group 1 main exam. Each wrong answer will be penalized with 1/3rd of the marks. The final selection will be based on the merit list prepared by combining the main exam and oral test marks.

The eligibility criteria of APPSC Group 1 2019 has been prescribed by the conducting authority, Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission. Candidates who are between 18 to 42 years of age can apply for APPSC Group 1 exam. The educational qualification of APPSC Group 1 is Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University in India or recognized Institution by the UGC or an equivalent qualification. Candidates have to also meet the physical standards to apply for the exam.
The application form was available in online mode. Candidates were able to fill APPSC Group 1 application form till from January 1 to February 7, 2019. First, candidates had to complete the ‘One Time Profile Registration’ to apply for the APPSC Group 1 services. The application form was paid both online and offline.
