RRB Group D Exam 2022 - The Railway Recruitment Board has released the RRB Group D result 2022 for level 1 post in online on December 22 for RRB Guwahati, RRB Bhopal, RRB Kolkata on the official websites.  Board will declare the RRB Groud D 2022 results for other regions soon. The Board has conducted the Computer Based Mode online exam from August 17 to October 11, 2022. The RRB Group D 2022 answer key has been released online on October 14, 2022.

RRB Group D exam is conducted for recruitment of Assistant Pointsman, Gatemen, Helpers, Hospital Attendants, Porters, and Track Maintainers in various departments of Indian Railways. RRB Group D CBT exam carries objective-type questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science and General Awareness on Current Affairs. 

RRBs have announced the section-wise marks for the online test. To qualify the exam, candidates have to secure the qualifying cutoff as per their category prescribed by the examination authority. Based on the performance in CBT, candidates three times the number of vacancies are selected for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates are called for document verification based on their performance in CBT subject to the qualifying PET stage of the exam.

The RRB Group D result 2022 has been announced by RRBs in online mode on December 22 for RRB Guwahati, RRB Bhopal, RRB Kolkata on the official websites. The result for rest of the regions soon will be declared separately by each region of the Indian Railway. The result will be announced after the conduct of each stage of the exam. RRB Group D result will be released in three stages – Computer Based Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Document Verification.

Result for CBT: RRB Group D Computer Based Test result is released in the online mode. On the basis of the result of CBT stage, candidates will be shortlisted to appear for PET stage of the exam.

Result for PET: Candidates qualifying CBT will need to appear for PET. The test is qualifying in nature to assess the physical ability of shortlisted candidates. After the conduct of PET, result will be declared for those candidates who have qualified the stage. Candidates qualifying PET will be selected to appear for Document Verification.

Final Result: Candidates will be shortlisted to appear for DV on the basis of marks secured in CBT subject to them qualifying PET. After the conduct of DV stage, the final result will be declared on the basis of which candidates will be selected for recruitment to the posts applied under.

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have defined the eligibility criteria of RRB Group D along with the notification. RRB Group D eligibility criteria have been provided below.

Nationality: Candidates should be citizens of India

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 to 28 years of age

Academic Qualification: Class 10 + National Apprenticeship Certificate by NCVT/ Class 10 + ITI from institutions affiliated to NCVT/ SCVT

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) closed the RRB Group D application form in online on April 12, 2019. The RRB Group D application form has been released on March 12, 2019. The application fee for RRB Group D was Rs. 500 for candidates of General category while the fee was Rs. 250 for candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories. The mode of payment of the application fee was both online and offline.

As per RRB Group D exam pattern, the Computer Based Test contains 100 objective type questions. The test is held for total 100 marks. Therefore, each question carries 1 mark. CBT exam is conducted for 90 minutes. For every incorrect responses, 1/3 of marks (0.33 mark) allotted for each question will be deducted. 

Candidates qualifying CBT will need to appear for PET to assess physical ability of candidates. PET is qualifying in nature. Candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification based on their performance in CBT subject to them qualifying PET.

                                                                                          • Ascertain the syllabus and exam pattern of RRB Group D
                                                                                          • Devise a plan to prepare for the examination in a manner that the complete syllabus for the exam is completed well before time
                                                                                          • The preparation plan should be prepared in such a way that all topics are covered
                                                                                          • It is crucial that candidates are clear about the basics of topics related to the syllabus
                                                                                          • After completion of the syllabus, candidates must see to it that enough time is left for revision
                                                                                          • It is also crucial for candidates to practice as many mock tests, previous years’ question papers and sample papers as possible which will help them manage their time effectively on the day of the exam.

                                                                                          Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) issued the RRB Group D admit card 2022 for level 1 post in online on August 13, 2022 on the RRB's official websites. The Board issues the admit card of RRB Group D separately for each stage of the exam. The admit card contains information including roll number, registration number, name of candidates, exam dates, timing, shift and exam centre address. The hall ticket is released region-wise in the online mode. 

                                                                                          To download admit card, candidates have to log in with their registration number and date of birth. The admit card for each stage are released four days prior to the conduct of respective examinations. On the day of exam, candidates have to carry one photo identity proof along with the admit card of the concerned exam.

                                                                                          The answer key of RRB Group D Computer Based Test for level 1 has been released online by Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) on October 14, 2022. To download the answer key, candidates need to log in using registration number and date of birth. The initial answer key is provisional. Candidates can challenge the provisional RRB Group D answer key in online mode by paying an amount of Rs.50 per question.

                                                                                          However, candidates can only raise objections against questions in the provisional answer key within the dates prescribed by the Boards. The RRBs will scrutinize all objections to the answer key and make the necessary changes after which the final answer key will be declared.

                                                                                          Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will determine the cutoff of RRB Group D. The cutoff will be declared region-wise. The cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates must secure in order to be shortlisted for subsequent stages of the exam. The cutoff will be prepared after marks obtained by candidates have been normalised. RRBs have already prescribed the minimum qualifying cutoff for the Computer Based Test (CBT) – 40% for general categories and 30% for candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories. 

                                                                                          The cutoff is released in two stages – Computer Based Test and final allotment. Based on cutoff of CBT, candidates will be selected the next stage of selction process. After all the stages of the exam has been conducted, RRBs will release a cutoff for final allotment of candidates to the posts they have applied for. The final cutoff will be prepared on the basis of marks secured in Computer Based Test provided they have qualified PET stage.

                                                                                          RRB Group D exam is conducted in three stages to recruit candidates for the various posts available under Indian Railways.                                                                                           Nationality

                                                                                          A candidate must be either:

                                                                                          (A) A citizen of India, or

                                                                                          (B) A subject of Nepal, or

                                                                                          (C) A subject of Bhutan, or

                                                                                          (D) Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

                                                                                          (E) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

                                                                                          RRB Educational Qualification:

                                                                                          The railway board has set a minimum level of education qualification that a candidate must possess in order to appear for the RRB Group D level 1 examination.

                                                                                          A candidate who wishes to appear for Group D Railway exam must have:

                                                                                          • ITI degree or diploma
