To apply, the minimum and maximum age limit for the exam is 18 years and 23 years respectively. Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent from Odisha Board or any other recognised board. Eligibility for Civil Constables (Male/Female)
As per the eligibility criteria of Odisha Police Constables Exam, candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent from Odisha Board or by any other recognized Board.
Candidates should be able to read, write and speak Odia and must have passed Odia as one of the subjects in your High School.
For Group-D employee working in the Police Department - 5 years of continuous service is required.
For Home Guard candidate - 3 years without any interruption on the date on which the advertisement for recruitment is published. Also, the basic course of training for Home Guards Constables (Male) is required.
Eligibility for Constables (17 Battalions - Male)
Candidates must have passed High School or equivalent conducted by the Odisha Board of Secondary Education or by any other recognized board.
Candidates should be able to read, write and speak Odia and must have passed Odia as one of the subjects in your High School.

The application form of Odisha Police Constables Recruitment will available on the official website. Candidates can download the Odisha Police Constable application form from the official website of Odisha Police. They also need to send the application form along with Bank Draft/Postal Order and photocopies of self-attested certificates/relevant documents to the concerned Commandant of the Battalion DCP (Security) of Special Security Battalion through post or to be deposited by hand at the concerned Battalion. For Civil Constable (Male/Female), Candidates have to send the application to the concerned Superintendent of Police of the district/DCP (HDQRS), Commissionerate, BBSR through post or to be deposited by hand. The cost of the Odisha Police Constables application form is Rs. 50.

The exam pattern of Odisha Police Constables exam is divided into different stages. Here are the stages and marks assigned to each stage.

The written exam consists of Odia and English Language, Arithmetic, General Knowledge, Aptitude and Logical Reasoning carrying a total of 35 marks.
The total marks of the exam are 120.
The admit card of Odisha Police Constable/Civil constable exam will be made available on the official website of Odisha Police. Candidates can download the admit card by entering the required login credentials in the login window. The admit card is a very important document. Without it, no candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam. It carries all the important details related to the exam such as exam centre, details of the candidate, exam day guidelines, etc. Candidates are supposed to carry the admit card along with a photo id proof on the exam day.
