Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) released the Manipur Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination 2022 (MCSCCE) preliminary exam results on May 28, 2024. Manipur CSCEE final answer key was released alongside the results. The MCSCCE 2022 preliminary exam was conducted April 30, 2023. As many as 100 vacancies will be filled through this examination. According to the eligibility criteria, any graduate candidates between 21 to 38 years can apply for the exam.
Manipur Civil Services Combined Competitive examination comprises three-stage selection process – Preliminary, Mains and Interview. The exam is conducted to select candidates for various administrative positions including Manipur Civil Service Grade-II officers, Sub-Deputy Collector, Election Officer, Manipur Secretariat Service/Section Officer, etc.

Manipur Civil Services Combined Competitive Exam eligibility criteria is prescribed by the examination authority. The eligibility criteria provide details regarding age and educational qualification which candidates need to fulfil inorder to be eligible for the exam. Manipur Civil Services eligibility criteria are given below.
Age: Candidates should be between 21 to 38 years. SC/ST category candidates have 5 years relaxation in the upper age limit, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for Differently Abled Persons (DAP).
Educational Qualification: Any graduate candidates can apply for the exam. Candidates need to submit the proof of their eligibility along with the application form of mains exam.
Candidates with technical and professional qualifications recognised by the Government as equivalent to the technical and professional degree are also eligible to apply for the exam.
Candidates who have passed MBBS or any other Medical Examination but have not completed their Internship by the time of their application Combined Competitive (Main) Examination, will be provisionally admitted to the Exam.
Number of Attempts: Candidates belonging to General Category can appear for the exam 6 times. The number of attempts for OBC candidates is 9. There is no capping in the number of attempts for SC/ST category candidates.

The Manipur Civil Services Combined Competitive Exam is conducted to shortlist candidates for the main exam. As per the exam pattern, this test will have questions related to General Studies carrying objective (Multiple Choice Questions). Candidates would need to select the correct answer from the options given in the question paper.
The total marks of the exam will be 300 and each question in the exam will carry 3 marks. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours and the medium of the exam will be English Language.

The merit list for Manipur Civil Services mains exam will be determined based on the minimum qualifying marks of 33% in General Studies Paper 2 and total qualifying marks of General Studies Paper 1.
