UPSESSB notifies 9294 Teacher vacancies
The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board (UPSESSB) has invited applications to fill up a total of 9294 vacancies of Teacher posts. Last date of submission of applications in prescribed format through the official website is July 5.
The applicants belonging to General and OBC categories are required to remit an amount of Rs 600 as application fee. According to the selection procedure, the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of a written test followed by an interview stage.
As per the eligibility criteria, the applicants must be aged minimum 21 years as on July 1, 2016. However, a relaxation in age will be provided to candidates from reserved categories as per government rules.
Trained Teacher Post (TGT): The applicants must possess a Graduate degree in a relevant subject with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Basic Training Certificate (BTC) or any other Teacher Training Certificate.
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): The applicants must possess a Postgraduate degree in concerned subject from a recognised university or institute.
