Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the result of UPSC Civil Services 2015 Prelims for the candidates who appeared in the exam held on August 23, 2015. The Commission has released the list of roll numbers in a PDF for the candidates who have qualified for admission to the Civil Services Main Exam.
As many as 17000 candidates have qualified for Mains out of 4.5 lakh candidates who appeared in the exam, UPSC informed in a release and invited applications for UPSC Civil Services 2015 Main Exam from the shortlisted candidates.
The candidates whose roll numbers appear in the UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2015 Result list have to fill up the DAF (CSM) online and submit the same online for admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2015 to be held from Sunday, December 18, 2015.
“The candidature of these candidates is provisional. In accordance with the Rules of the Examination, all these candidates have to apply a gain in the Detailed Application Form, DAF (CSM), for Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2015, which would be available on the website of the Union Public Service,” the UPSC statement said.
The UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2015 Application Form will be available on the website of the Commission from October 29 to November 13, 2015 till 11:59 PM. Candidates have to submit the application for Mains in online mode and also take its printout which is to be reached the Commission office by November 20, 2015.
“All the qualified candidates are also required to take a print out of the finally submitted DAF (CSM) separately after submitting the duly filled DAF (CSM) ONLINE. The successful candidates will have to send the printed copy of the DAF (CSM) duly signed by the candidates along with all relevant documents including the prescribed fees, wherever applicable, as enclosures addressed to the Under Secretary [CS (M)], Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069, so as to reach the Commission's Office latest by 20th November, 2015, 5:00 PM,” said the statement.
UPSC is conducting the selection process to fill in 1129 vacancies distributed among 25 different posts of Civil Services.
