UPSC Civil Services 2014 Prelims Result- Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2014 cutoff on October 14, of candidates, who have qualified for UPSC Civil Services Main Exam.

“On the basis of the result of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2014 held on August, 24, 2014, the candidates with the following Roll Numbers have qualified for admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2014,” UPSC said in a statement.

UPSC has asked the candidates to apply for Main Exam by filling up the online Detailed Application Form, DAF (CSM), for Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2014, as the candidature of candidates is provisional.

 

The DAF (CSM) will be available on the UPSC official website from Tuesday, October 28, 2014 till Tuesday, November 11, 2014. Last date of submission of DAF at UPSC counter by hand is Tuesday, November 18, 2014, by 5:00 pm, UPSC said.

UPSC Civil Services 2014 Main Exam will be held on December 14, 2014, and UPSC Civil Services 2014 Mains Result will be announced tentatively in May/June 2015.

 

After the declaration of UPSC Civil Services 2014 Mains Result, candidates qualifying in the Mains round will be appointed as Civil Servants.

 

UPSC conducted Civil Services exam for UPSC Civil Services 2014 on August 24 to fill up around 1,291 vacancies in civil services including Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Central Services (Group A and Group B).
