UPSC Civil Services Mains 2014 Result declared

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the result of Civil Services Main exam on April 12, 2015.UPSC Civil Services 2014 Main Exam was held on December 14, 2014.

 

The Personality development test for the qualified candidates is likely to start from April 27, 21015. Candidates qualifying in the personality development test will be appointed as Civil Servants across the country.

Earlier on August 24, UPSC conducted preliminary exam for UPSC Civil Services 2014 to fill up around 1,291 vacancies in civil services including Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Central Services(Group A and Group B).

 

Candidates, who qualified Prelims round, were called for the Main Exam. Mains round of UPSC Civil Services includes written exam and personality test. 

 

Out of the total vacancies 1,291 vacancies, as many as 26 vacancies are reserved for Physically Handicapped Category. The 26 reserved seats are further divided for 12 vacancies for LDCP, 2 Vacancies for B/LV and 12 Vacancies for HI.
