UPSC Civil Services 2018 prelims result declared; around 10460 qualified for mains
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the UPSC Civil Services 2018 preliminary result on July 14. The UPSC Civil Services 2018 prelims result includes the roll number of qualified candidates. Around 10460 candidates have qualified for appearing in the mains exam of UPSC Civil Services 2018 to be conducted from September 28 to October 7, for approximately 782 posts of administrative positions, including Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Central Services (Group A and Group B).

UPSC Civil Services prelims 2018 result has been declared only for those candidates who have secured a sectional as well as overall aggregate qualifying mark as per their caste categories.
Candidates who qualified the preliminary examination will appear for the mains exam of UPSC Civil Services 2018 scheduled to be conducted from September 28 to October 7, 2018. Candidates who clear the main examination will be called for the interview. The final selection for administrative positions will be made on the basis of the marks obtained in the main examination and the interview.
