Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced recruitment for vacant posts including Assistant Directors, Senior Scientific Officers, Assistant Engineers, Senior Lecturers and Specialists Grade III (Medicine), in different ministries. Interested aspirants can fill the application form in online mode till September 1, 2016.

Eligibility Criteria – Candidates can check the eligibility criteria including age and education qualifications of the various vacant positions as below.


Age: The age limit for each post has been given in the advertisement. Certain age concessions admissible to various categories therefore candidates are advised to go through the instruction regarding age concessions & relaxations.


Educational Qualification: All applicants must fulfil the essential requirements of the post and other conditions stipulated as given in the advertisement. They are advised to fulfil the prescribed educational qualification before applying. The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview


Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25 either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.  No fee will be charged for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/Women categories of any community. Applications without the prescribed fee would not be considered and summarily rejected. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstance nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.


Application Procedure: Candidates must apply online through the official website of UPSC .Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected. Candidates must upload the following documents/certificates relating to educational qualification, Date of Birth, Experience (preferably in prescribed format), Desirable Qualification(s) or any other information, as claimed in the online application, in a single pdf file in such a way that the file size does not exceed 2 MB and is legible when a printout taken. For that purpose, the applicant may scan the following documents/certificates in 200 dpi grey scale. Documents like Pay Slip, Resume, Appointment Letter, Relieving Letter, Un-signed Experience Certificate etc. must not be uploaded in the document upload module.
