SSC CHSL 2016 applications begin from Oct 8; Tier 1 Exam from Jan 7

The SSC CHSL 2016 online registrations begin from October 8 as per the official release announced by exam conducting body, Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The last date to fill SSC CHSL 2016 application forms is November 7, 2016.

Candidates can fill SSC CHSL 2016 application form in the online mode and no any other mode/means will be accepted.  The registration process of SSC CHSL 2016 is a two stage procedure, wherein the first stage involves obtaining the online registration number while the second stage includes uploading of photograph and making the payment via online and Bank Challan.

 

SSC CHSL 2016 will be conducted in online mode in three shifts from January 7 to February 5, 2017.  The online question booklet of SSC CHSL 2016 will have 100 multiple choice questions from general intelligence, English language, quantitative aptitude and general awareness. Candidates will score 2 marks for each correct response while 0.50 marks will be deducted for each incorrect response.

 

Candidates who will be at least 18 years of age on or before January 1, 2017 and have passed HSCL/HSC/10+2 Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University are eligible to fill the application form.

 

SSC CHSL 2016 is conducted for recruitment of approximately 5134 postal assistants/sorting assistants, data entry operators, lower divisional clerks and court clerks in various Ministries, Departments and Organisations.
