The Staff Selection Commission- Conbined Graduate Level examination is held annually to allot jobs in the various departments of the governments. Unfortunately, the SSC has declared that starting from 2020, a candidate should be between the ages of 20 and 30 to be eligible to answer this examination. As you are 36 years old,
you are not eligible for SSC-CGL 2020-21.
yes ,you can apply for ssc cgl 2019.
you mentioned that you have completed B.sc in catering science and management which is a bachelor degree course.
during online application you should fill only B.sc in education qualification section in ssc site.
The eligibility criteria is that a candidate must have passed bachelor's degree from a recognised board. For junior statistical post a candidate must have studied bachelor's degree with atleast 60% marks in mathematics from a recognised board or must have studied bachelor's degree in any discipline with statistics as one of the subjects. For rest of the posts bachelor's degree is must.
So, yes you are eligible.
Hello dear student,
Both are on entirely different levels but guess what's the plus point is both are government jobs and both have job security with them . It really depends even if you are going to get a job by cracking SSC cgl then yes you are going to have a good place. While it depends at which position you are seeking or joining the job . While upsc is at a very different level and scale . It do have a different position if we look at . I hope this was helpful. While both are prestigious at their own places .
Yes definitely you can apply for ssc cgl 2019 even if you are completing your graduation in 2020. The only eligibility criteria required for the exam is bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university and board. The exam registration has a very long process. So just do submit all the required certificates properly and safely. The exam procedure is too long. Till now, CGL 2016 is about to take place and CGL 2017 is not yet out only. So maybe once you come in 2020 after that only CGL 2019 comes out so you have a high chance to apply.
Best wishes. Thank you.
