South Central Railway notifies 2030 women constable recruitments
South Central Railway has announced to recruit 2030 Women Constables in RPF and RPSF and invited applications from interested candidates for the same. The candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format along with all the required documents on or before March 1, 2016.
To apply for the posts, only those candidates are eligible, who have completed matriculation from a recognized board or university or equivalent. The candidates applying for the posts must be aged between 18 and 25 years.
Out of the total vacancies announced, 1827 are reserved for RPF and 203 for RPSF. The pay scale for the posts announced is of PB-1 Rs. 5200-Rs. 20200, along with Grade Pay Rs. 2000.
According to the selection procedure for the posts, there will be a written exam which will be conducted after the scrutiny of applications received from the candidates. The shortlisted candidates, after the written exam result, will have to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and also document verification.
As per the exam pattern for the same, the written exam will be held on OMR based answer sheet. The recruitment exam will contain as many as 120 multiple-choice objective-type questions, each carrying one mark. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes.
One of the 17 railway zones in the country, South Central Railway is second highest revenue earning zone in Indian Railways after Northern Railway Zone.
