SBI PO 2016 preliminary exam begins from July 2The State Bank of India has started SBI PO 2016 examination for preliminary stage from July 2, 2016 in online mode. The competitive bank recruitment exam is being held in a 10-day window till July 10, 2016 for filling up a total of 2,428 vacancies, including 60 reserved for PwD and 168 backlog vacancies, of Probationary Officer positions.

Candidates appearing for SBI PO preliminary examination 2016 have to answer as many as 100 questions in a composite time of 1 hour. The 100 questions carry one mark each and in case of any wrong response, 0.25 marks each will be deducted as negative marking.

 

As per SBI PO 2016 preliminary exam pattern, the multiple-choice questions will be asked from three sections – English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability, where 35 questions will be each from Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability and 30 questions from English Language section.

 

The online SBI PO exam (preliminary) will be held at various exam centres across the country on July 2, 3, 9 and 10. Approximately 20 lakh candidates are expected to appear in the SBI PO preliminary exam 2016.

 

The results of SBI PO 2016 exam is set to be declared on July 18, followed by SBI PO Main exam 2016, to be conducted on July 31.
