State Bank of India (SBI) can declare the result of SBI Clerk 2018 prelims anytime soon. The result of SBI Clerk prelims will comprise the list of names of candidates who will qualify the preliminary phase of the exam. The result of SBI Clerk prelims exam 2018 will be declared only for the candidates who will have qualified the exam.
Qualified candidates of the prelims exam will be considered for appearing in SBI Clerk Mains exam. The prelims stage is qualifying in nature and marks secured in prelims will not be considered while preparing the final result. The exam conducting authority will filter candidates 10 times the number of total vacancies in prelims test to appear in mains.
SBI Clerk result 2018 for prelims exam will contain the aggregate marks secured by candidates in all sections – English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability.

SBI Clerk is conducted in two phases – preliminary and mains. The prelims of SBI Clerk exam was conducted on June 23, 24 and 30. The preliminary stage of the exam was conducted for total 100 questions; each question carrying 1 mark. Therefore, SBI Clerk prelims was conducted for 100 marks.
SBI Clerk Mains 2018 will be held on August 5. The final result of SBI Clerk will be prepared after the conclusion of mains exam on the basis of marks secured in it. SBI has announced total 8,301 vacancies for Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre posts. Of the total vacancies, 3788 seats are for candidates belonging to general category while rest of the vacancies are reserved for SC, ST and OBC category candidates.
