Punjab police invites application for 388 constables
Punjab police has invited the application for the recruitment of 388 male and female constables in information technology & telecommunication wing. The online application procedure for Punjab police recruitment 2016 has started on August 16 and last date to fill application form is September 5, 2016. Pay Band of Rs. 10300 - 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 3200 and other allowances as admissible
The minimum age (as on January 01, 2016) for recruitment at the rank of constable should be 18 years (both male/female) and maximum age should be 28 years
The cut-off date for this purpose shall be January 01, 2016 (01.01.2016)
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes would be entitled to a relaxation in the upper age limit to the extent of 5 years over and above the above-mentioned upper age limit (28 years)
Ex-Serviceman shall be given relaxation in the upper age limit by 3 years, plus the number of years of service, rendered in the Indian Defence Forces
Educational Qualification: The aspiring candidates have to check educational qualification as specified in the information brochure before filing up the application form
Candidate should read the instructions in the advertisement and online application form carefully before making any entry or selecting any option. Candidate should enter all the required details while filling up the on-line application form.
The filling of online application has two parts: (i) Submission of Application Form and (ii) Uploading of Fee Payment Details & Fee Challan. The second part is meant only for those who are not exempted from payment of fee.
