The Uttar Pradesh Police has invited applications to fill up a total of 2707 vacancies to the posts of Sub-Inspector, Platoon Commander and Fire Brigade Officer. The last date of submission of online applications in prescribed format is July 29.
The online application process for the same begins from June 30. The applicants are required to remit an application fee of Rs. 400 through E-Challan.
According to the selection process, the candidates will have to clear the following levels in order to get selected for appointment.
Physical Standard Test
As per the eligibility criteria, the candidates applying for the posts must be aged between 21 and 28 years as on July 1, 2016. However, an age relaxation will be given to reserve category candidates according to government norms.
For Sub Inspector and Platoon Commander – Candidates are required to possess Graduate Degree in any stream from any recognized University.
For Fire Brigade Officer – Candidates must hold B.Sc Degree from any recognized university.
