The New India Assurance Co.Ltd has invited applications for recruitment of 685 Assistants in Class III cadre. The online registration procedure will start from July 16, 2018. Last date to fill New India Assurance application form is July 31, 2018. The selection process comprises online tests – Preliminary and Main examination followed by Regional Language Test. The preliminary exam is scheduled to be conducted on September 8 and 9, 2018. The mains examination of New India Assurance will be held on October 6, 2018. Emoluments: Rs. 23500/- per month in the initial stage in a metro city.
Candidates must be either -
a) a citizen of India or
b) a subject of Nepal or
c) a subject of Bhutan or
d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

The age of candidates will be calculated as on June 30, 2018.
Applicant’s age should be 21 to 30 years.
Candidates born not earlier than July 1, 1988, and not later than June 30, 1997 can only apply.
Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories.
The minimum educational qualification is graduation in any discipline.
Candidates should take English as one of the subjects in SSC/HSC/Intermediate/Graduation.
Candidates must possess a certificate of having passed the qualifying examination as on the date of application.
Knowledge of Regional Language of the state for which candidates have applied is necessary.
New India Assurance application form 2018 can be filled in three parts – registration, payment of fees and uploading of photograph, signature, left thumb impression and written declaration. Candidates can advise reading the instructions given in the notification before filling the application form. Fee for general and OBC category is Rs 600 while it is Rs 100 for SC/ST/PWD/Ex·Ser which can be paid online.

New India Assurance admit card will be issued separately for Preliminary and Mains examination. The admit card will be issued 10 days prior to the date of each examination. Candidates have to download the admit card online by entering registration number/roll number and password/date of birth. After downloading the admit card, candidates have to paste passport sized photograph on it. Candidates have to carry at least one photo-identity proof in original as well as photocopy to the examination center along with the admit card.
The recruitment exam comprises three stages – Prelims, Mains, and Regional Language Test. The preliminary exam will be objective type test of 100 marks. Candidates will have to qualify in each test by securing the cutoff decided by the exam conducting authority. On the basis of candidate’s performance in prelims, selection will be made for the mains exam. The mains exam will consist of 200 objective type questions of 250 marks. Candidates qualifying the mains exam will be shortlisted for Regional Language Test before final selection. There are no marks for Regional Language Test. This test is qualifying in nature. Final selection will be made on the basis of performance mains examination subjected to candidate’s qualifying the Regional Language Test. The final merit list will be prepared state-wise and category-wise in descending order of marks secured by candidates in mains examination. Candidates whose names feature in the merit list will be given appointment provided they satisfy medical fitness test.
