The Directorate of Education, Government of Manipur has invited applications for the recruitment of a total of 1622 vacancies to teaching and non-teaching posts. The last date to submit the application form in prescribed format is June 27, 2016.
The applicants belonging to General/OBC category must pay Rs 500 as application fee, while the SC/ST category candidates are required to pay Rs 250 for the same. The duly filled application form as well as all the necessary documents, including educational qualification and experience certificates, must reach the recruitment authority at the following address before the dead line.

According to the selection procedure, the shortlisting of the candidates will be based on the written exam followed by an interview.
As per the eligibility criteria, the candidates applying for the posts must not be aged more than 38 years. However, an age relaxation will be applied to the reserved category candidates as per government rules.
Primary Teacher: Applicants must be Class 12 pass with a minimum of 50 percent marks and a two-year diploma in elementary education or Bachelor of Elementary Education. They must possess a qualifying score in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by state government or any recognised agency approved by NCTE.
Office Assistant: The applicants must be Graduate from a recognised university or institute with knowledge of Microsoft Office, having an English typing speed of 30 words per minute.
Multi-Tasking Staff: Applicants must be Class 10 pass from a recognised board or institute.
