JKPSC invites applications to fill 1059 Lecturer vacancies
The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has invited applications for filling up as many as 1059 vacancies to the Lecturer 10+2 position in various disciplines at the School Education Department of the State. The last date of applications through the prescribed format is April 25, 2016.
The eligible candidates can apply in online along with all the relevant documents. The application fee for General category candidates is Rs. 505 and that for the Reserved Categories is Rs. 255.
According to the selection procedure,the shortlisting of the candidates will be based on the interview or written exam conducted by the recruitment body.
As per the eligibility criteria, the applicants must have a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject. The applicants must be aged between 18 to 40 years. Relaxation is age will be given to reserved category candidates as per government norms. They are required to fulfill the following education conditions in respective discipline:
Stenography: Applicants must have a Master’s Degree with certificate course in Stenography from Government ITI and based on a qualifying test in shorthand and typewriting. The minimum speed of shorthand and typewriting must be 80 and 40 words per minute, respectively.
Computer Science: Applicants must possess MCA degree from a recognized University or have done DOEACC B Level Course.
