IBPS RRB 2018 Mains exam for 10,190 vacancies begins; get more details here
The mains exam of IBPS RRB 2018 for Officer Scale I has begun on September 30 whereas for Officers Scale II and III a common interview is being conducted. Institute of Personnel Banking (IBPS) is conducting the exam for Officer Scale I across multiple centres in 82 cities. IBPS RRB mains examination is being conducted for those candidates who have qualified in the prelims examination that was held on August 11 and 12.
The exam conducting authority will also conduct IBPS RRB 2018 mains exam for Office Assistant on October 7 in online mode. Candidates who are appearing for the exam were required to carry their admit card of IBPS RRB 2018 along with one of the photo identity proofs - Voter ID Card, Passport, Aadhaar Card, Pan Card, Driving License, Employee ID and Bank Passbook with photograph. Candidates must keep in mind that without their admit card and photo ID proof they are not allowed to enter the examination hall.
After the exam, IBPS will not release any answer key of IBPS RRB mains exam. However the result of IBPS RRB 2018 mains exam is expected to be declared in October. Candidates who will qualify the mains exam will have to appear for interview that will be conducted in November for Officer Scale I. For Officers Scale II and III, no further exam will be conducted. Candidates who will qualify all the stages of exam will be recruited at any one of the 56 Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) which are participating in the recruitment process of IBPS RRB.
Institute of Personnel Banking (IBPS) conducts IBPS RRB every year for recruiting candidates for the post of Officer Scale I, II and III and Office Assistant. This year the exam is being held for a total of 10,190 vacancies out of which 3312 vacancies are for Officer Scale I, 1469 for Officer Scale II, 160 for Officer Scale III and 5249 vacancies are there for the post of Office Assistant.
