IBPS Exam 2014 - Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced online exam dates for recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO), Clerical Assistants and Specialist Officers (SO) in 20 public sector banks across India.

IBPS PO 2014 Common Written Exam (CWE) will be held tentatively on October 11, 12, 18, 19 and November 1 and 2 to fill up vacancies of PO/Management Trainees or similar posts in the state-run banks. Last year around 22,000 PO/MT vacancies were filled up through similar process.


The CWE for IBPS Clerk 2014 will be conducted on December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21 and 27 to fill up vacancies in the clerical cadre of banks. Around 40,000 clerical vacancies were filled up through this exam last year.


IBPS has also announced to conduct CWE for recruitment in SO grade, on February 14, 15 and 21, 2015.

Application Form for IBPS PO, Clerk and SO level recruitment will be made online tentatively in July, August and November 2014, respectively. The admit card for IBPS PO, Clerk and SO exam is expected in October, November 2014 and January 2015, respectively.


IBPS conducts separate CWEs and interviews for selection of candidates to be inducted in SO, PO and Clerical cadre of public sector banks and Officers and Office Assistants in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across the country.


The institute has already declared the exam dates for recruitment of Officers and Office Assistants in 56 RRBs. The IBPS RRB 2014 exam will be held in a 15-day window tentatively beginning from September 6, 2014, and will continue on September 7, 13, 14, 20, 21 and 27, 2014.


Online registration of applicants for RRB recruitments was opened on June 18, 2014 and the application process will continue till July 9, 2014. Admit Card for the exam is expected to be available online for Officer Grade after August 26, 2014 and for Office Assistant Grade after September 02, 2014.
