What is UGC NET exam ? What is SET exam?
The NET or National Eligibility Test is an examination held to grant eligibility for the post of assistant professors. For private universities, professors might not need NET qualifications but for government colleges, a NET qualification is essential
The SET or State Eligibility Test is similar to NET in pretty much all aspects other than the fact that SET is reserved for that particular State only as compared to NET which applies to the entire country.
