CRPF notifies for 686 Head Constable vacancies

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has notified to fill up as many as 686 vacancies to the posts of Head Constable (Ministerial). The eligible candidates can apply for the posts online in prescribed format through the official website on or before May 5, 2016.

The application process for the recruitment for the posts will start on April 6, 2016. The recruitment authority said in a statement that the posts are contractual and purely temporary in nature, however, they are likely to continue in future.

 

According to the selection procedure, the shortlisting of the candidates will be based on a written examination, physical standard test (PST) and skill test. Call letters or admit cards for the tests will be available on the official website. Written examination is scheduled to be conducted on June 26, 2016.

 

As per the eligibility criteria, the applicants must have passed intermediate (Class 12) or equivalent exam from a board or university recognised by central or state government. The candidates must have an English typing speed of at least 35 words per minute on computer or Hindi typing speed of at least 30 words per minute on computer.

 

The applicants must not be aged more than 25 years and less than 18 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the government guidelines.
