CRPF Head Constable Recruitment 2020: Apply for 1412 Posts

CRPF Head Constable Recruitment - Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has issued the latest notification for the recruitment of Group - C post of Head Constable in the Force. Candidates can apply for 1412 vacancies out of which 1331 vacancies are for male candidates and 81 vacancies are for female candidates. The posts are temporary but may become permanent as per government guidelines. The post is 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix Level 4 - Rs. 25,500 - Rs.81,000 plus allowances like DA, HRA, CCA. The application form will be available from February 07, 2020. Candidates have to submit their application forms before March 06, 2020. The examination will be conducted on April 19, 2020.

CRPF Head Constable Eligibility Criteria

Only serving male and female Constables (General Duty/Bugler/ Mali/Painter) are eligible to apply for the 1412 posts.

Service eligibility

The candidates should have completed 4 years of service. Candidates having more than 4 years of experience will be awarded additional marks.


Age limit

The Upper age limit is 32 years.

Note: The Cut off date for date determining age of candidates for accepting applications will be 1st August 2019.


Education Qualification

10 +2 pass from a Board or university recognized by the central or state government.

CRPF HC selection Process

The selection process of consist of following stages:

Stage I: Written Exam

  • General Intelligence/ General awareness / Reasoning/ Numerical ability

  • Professional knowledge

  • Language comprehension/Communication skills

Stage II: Physical Measurement

Candidates who qualify Stage I written examination will be shortlisted for Stage II test

Stage III: Physical Efficiency Test

All candidates possessing the minimum prescribed Physical Measurement will undergo Physical Efficiency Test.

Stage IV: Checking of Testimonial

The testimonials of the candidates who qualify in Stage I, Stage II and Stage III will be checked.

Stage V: Medical Examination

The candidates who qualify in Stage I, Stage II, Stage III and Stage IV will be medically examined.

Stage VI: Drawal of Merit List

After the medical examination, merit list for all categories will be drawn. Total marks for the drawal of merit list will be 220 marks.
