IBPS PO 2014 Common Written Exam (CWE), which is set to be held in a 22-day window, begins from October 11 to fill up around 22,000 vacancies of Probationary Officers/Management Trainees or similar posts in around 20 public sector banks across India. The computer-based IBPS PO 2014 written exam will be held on October 11, 12, 18, 19 and November 1 and 2, 2014.

Earlier on July 22, Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) announced registration of IBPS PO 2014 Application Form. The application process continued till August 11, 2014. The registration of the candidates was done in online mode only.

The IBPS PO 2014 Eligibility Criteria says the candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or should have any other equivalent qualification. He/she should be aged between 20 years and 30 years as on July 1, 2014.

The IBPS PO 2014 Important Dates for application are as below:

  • Application process to be done from July 22 to August 11, 2014
  • Downloading of Call Letter for exam after September 26, 2014
  • Online exam to be held on October 11, 12, 18, 19, November 1 and 2, 2014
  • Result to be released in December, 2014
  • Downloading of Call Letter for interview January, 2015
  • Interview in January, 2015
  • Provisional Allotment in April, 2015

According to IBPS PO 2014 Paper Pattern, the 2-hour IBPS PO 2014 online examination will consist of 5 tests – Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge – carrying a total of 200 questions of 1 mark each. For every wrong answer marked in the objective-type tests, 0.25 marks will be deducted as negative marking.

                                                                 

As per IBPS PO 2014 Selection Process, the candidates who qualify in the CWE, will be called by participating banks and IBPS for a Common Interview to be held as the final round of selection. The candidates, who qualify in the final round, are appointed as PO in any of the participating banks.

I am purshuing 3-2semistor and I am 20 years , can I apply for SBI PO (or) IBPS PO this year

Rama, for being eligible for SBI PO, you need to be between 21 to 30 years . There is an age relaxation for Reserved Categories. If you are 20 years, you should turn 21 at least by April 1st, 2020. If you do not turn 21 by 1st April 2020, you might not be eligible for SBI PO.

But for IBPS PO, the minimum age limit is 20 years and so you qualify for appearing for IBPS exam. Regarding you studying our Final year graduation, Graduates with a Bachelor's degree in any discipline are eligible for both SBI PO and IBPS PO. And those who are appearing for their final year exams are also eligible. But their recruitment is subjective to fulfillment of the eligibility criteria required.

In short, you have to wait for SBI PO until next year but can appear for IBPS PO this year.

Hello,

Sorry but u are not eligible to take the ibps po exam of 2020 since all candidates must have a graduate degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized University the marksheet should be dated earlier than august 28 ,2020 for qualification .

There isn't any minimum percentage requirement to be eligible to appear in SBI PO and IBPS PO.

  • To be eligible to appear in SBI PO a candidate must have passed bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized board or University or Central Government.
  • Candidates who are in final year are also eligible.

  • A candidate must have passed bachelor's degree from a recognized board or university.

Hi
The maximum age to appear in  IBPS PO exam is 30 years. There is relaxation of three years for non creamy layer of OBC caste. As your age is 31 years now, you can give the exam upto the age of 33 years.
So you are eligible for the IBPS PO entrance exam.
