CBSE to conduct UGC-NET 2017 on January 22

UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) 2017 will be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on January 22. However, no further details on other events of the exam are available.

 

According to an official notification, “CBSE will conduct the UGC-NET for Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor on January 22, 2017 (Sunday) at selected cities across India.”

 

Further details on the exam and dates associated with other events of the exams will be available by October 15, 2016.

 

The national level exam - CBSE UGC NET is conducted twice a year – June/July and December, to select candidates for Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor.

 

In 2016, University Grants Commission (UGC) NET for June/July session was conducted on July 10. 

 

As per CBSE UGC NET Selection Process 2016, selection of the candidates for Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor is only based on their performance in all the three papers of UGC-NET.
