Assam Police Recruitment 2020 notification and application form has been released by Assam Police in online mode on February 25 at its official website - police.assam.gov.in. The application form has been released for recruiting a total of 1283 candidates as Constable, Sub Officer, Firemen & Emergency Rescuer vacancies in Assam Police Radio Organisation & Fire & Emergency Service, Assam. The last to fill the application form of Assam Police Recruitment 2020 is March 15. Candidates between 20 to 24 years of age (Sub-Officer) and 18 to 25 years of age (APRO and Fireman & Emergency Rescuer) as on January 1, 2020, who have passed class 12th can only appear for the Assam Police Recruitment 2020 test. The test will be conducted in two stages - written test and PST & PET. The written test will contain a total of 100 questions of 50 marks. Candidates who pass in the written exam will have to appear for the PST and PET for a total of 40 marks. Also, the candidate will be given 10 marks for extracurricular activities and skills. Assam Police Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2020

The examination authorities have determined the eligibility criteria of Assam Police Recruitment on the basis of nationality, age, education qualification, and physical standards.

Nationality- Candidates must be Indian citizens, ordinarily residents of Assam.

Age:

For Sub-Officers - 20 to 24 years as on 1st January of 2020

For Constable - 18 to 25 years as on 1st January of 2020

Assam Police Recruitment Application Form 2020

The online application form for the recruitment of Assam Police 2020 has been released on February 25 in online mode. Eligible candidates can fill the Assam Police recruitment application form till March 15. It must be noted that candidates do not have to pay any application fee for filling the form. Assam Police Recruitment Exam Pattern 2020

The test will be held for two stages - written exam and PST and PET. The written test of Assam Police will contain a total of 100 questions of 50 marks. Questions will be asked from the following five sections:

  • Elementary Arithmetic

  • General English

  • Logical reasoning/Mental ability

  • Assam’s History, Geography, Polity, Economy

  • General Awareness/General Knowledge and current affairs

Candidates who pass the written test will have to appear for PST and PET which is conducted for a total of 40 marks. An extracurricular activity and skill test will also be held for 10 marks.

Assam Police Recruitment Result 2020

The exam authorities will announce the result of Assam Police Recruitment in online mode for each stage separately at its official website. The final result will be announced taking the marks of all the stages together. The final marks will be calculated out of 100 (50+40+10).
