About NDA 2023
UPSC NDA 2 2023 - UPSC has declared the NDA 2 result 2023 on September 26 at upsc.gov.in. The commission successfully conducted the NDA 2 exam 2023 in offline mode on September 3, 2023. The NDA 2 admit card 2023 was released online on August 11 on the official website. The commission deactivated the UPSC NDA 2 application form correction window 2023 on June 13 at upsc.gov.in. The NDA 2 2023 application form correction window was activated on June 7 on the official website.
The commission closed the NDA 2 application form 2023 on June 6 at upsc.gov.in. The UPSC NDA 2 notification 2023 was released on May 17, 2023 on the official website. Along with the NDA 2 notification, the commission also released the UPSC NDA 2 2023 application form. Before filing the UPSC NDA 2 2023 application form, Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria carefully.
As per the NDA eligibility criteria, all 12th-passed candidates between 16.5 to 19.5 years could apply for the NDA 1 2023 exam. General category applicants needed to pay the application fee of Rs. 100/-. However, SC/ST and other reserved category candidates are exempted from paying the NDA application fee.
What is the NDA exam?
The NDA exam is conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in April and September. The NDA recruitment exam 2023 is conducted to induct eligible and qualified applicants as officers in the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. All class 12th passed from a recognised board between the age group of 16.5 to 19.5 years. Those who have given the standard 12th exam and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear for the NDA 2023 exam.
The NDA 2023 recruitment process as has two stages - a written exam and SSB interview. The NDA written exam has two papers one of elementary mathematics and the other of general aptitude test (GAT). Both the NDA 2023 papers are conducted in offline mode.
Candidates clearing the written exam will be eligible to appear for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview which is 5 day process in which applicants are tested on various parameters to confirm their final candidature before the induction.
On clearing the NDA 2023 recruitment process applicants than have to undergo intensive training for the defence service they are selected for before they are deputed to their respective services.
What is the full form of NDA?
The full form of the NDA exam is National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination. But it is commonly known and referred to as the NDA exam or UPSC NDA exam. The objective of the NDA exam is to recruit eligible and qualified candidates as officers of the defence safety and security of the country.
Candidates preparing for NDA 2023 exam can check the NDA question papers for their effective preparations. NDA selection process comprises a written exam followed by an SSB interview and medical examination. NDA 2023 written exam comprises two papers - Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT). The duration of each test is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The maximum mark allotted to the written exam is 900. Candidates who clear the written exam will be called for an SSB interview.

The Union Public Services Commission provided the NDA 2 application form correction window from June 7 to 13, 2023. The commission closed the UPSC NDA 2 application form 2023 on June 6. The UPSC NDA 2 2023 application form was released on May 17, 2023. The UPSC NDA 2 2023 application form was released in online mode on the official website.
Candidates have to fill the UPSC NDA 2 2023 application form in online mode only. Candidates have to complete the One Time Registration and then proceed to apply for the UPSC NDA exam 2023. NDA 2023 application Part 1: There are five pages to complete the NDA 2023 part 1 registration.
- The first page comprises filling basic details like category, father's name, mother’s name, date of birth, and others.
- The second page - Claiming age Relaxation
- The third page - Choosing "Engineering Branch" and Centre for Engineering Services (Main/Stage II) Examination
- Fourth page - Editing and making any changes in the furnished details

After completing part registration, candidates have to complete part 2 of the NDA application process. In NDA registration part 2 candidates need to pay the application fee, they have to choose the preferred exam centre and upload the signature, photograph and document proof as per the specifications.

Steps To Fill NDA Application Form 2023
Open the UPSC official website - upsc.gov.in.
Click on the ‘Apply Online link’ available on the web page.
Online One-Time Registration (OTR)- If the applicants are not completed the One Time Registration, They have to complete it by providing some basic details such as personal and contact details.
Login by using valid login credentials Email ID and OTP/Password or Mobile number and OTP/Password or OTR ID and OTP/Password.
Candidates have to fill out the UPSC NDA 2023 application form in two parts which include filling in other details, fee payment, uploading of scanned documents, signature, photo identity card document, selection of preferred exam centre and agreeing to the declaration.
Check all the details furnished in the UPSC NDA 2 application form 2023 thoroughly and edit the details if needed.
Once submitted, Applicants will not able to make changes in their UPSC NDA 2 2023 application form.
After submission, a registration number will be generated. Candidates have to download it as a pdf file and take a printout for future reference.

The NDA 2023 exam pattern contains the stages of NDA exam, different sections, mode of exam, duration of exam, marking scheme, etc. Applicants must go through the exam pattern of NDA 2023 before they start off with their NDA preparations. As per NDA exam pattern, the test is conducted in the offline mode. The test has two papers - paper I (Mathematics) and paper II [General Ability Test (GAT)]. What to do in case of discrepancy in the NDA admit card 2023?
Candidates must ensure that all the details mentioned on the UPSC admit card are correct. In case of a discrepancy in the NDA 2023 admit card, applicants must contact the examination authorities and get it rectified. To contact the authorities, candidates can send an email at usna-upsc@nic.in and a copy of their NDA admit card along with the application form or can even go in person to the facilitation centre or call up at 011-23385271/ 23381125/ 23098543 (on working days between 10 am to 5 pm).

Union Public Service Commission declared the NDA 2 result 2023 online on September 26 on the official website. The UPSC released the NDA 2 result 2023 in PDF format. - The candidate separate limit must be 18.7 years not later than 1st July 2005.

Male and female applicants for the NDA 1 exam must have been born between July 1, 2004, and July 1, 2007, inclusive. Given your October 2004 birthdate and the fact that you have a Class 12 diploma from a recognized board, you are qualified for NDA 2023. According to the guidelines established by the Union Public Service Commission, applicants from the restricted categories are not given any age accommodations for the NDA and NA examinations. Candidates for the Indian Army and Indian Air Force and Naval must have completed their 12th grade in Physics and Mathematics from a State Education Board or a University, respectively, in order to be qualified.

The NDA's age range is 16.5–19.5 years. Only unmarried male and female candidates who were born between July 1, 2007, and July 2, 2004, are eligible to apply for NDA 1 2024. Candidates for NDA 2 2024 must have been born between January 1, 2008, and January 2, 2005, in order to be eligible for the exam.
Since your date of birth is 24 july 2008, you are not eligible to give NDA 2 exam in 2024.
