Indian Coast Guard conducts Indian Coast Guard Yantrik exam for all the aspiring candidates who wish to join the Indian Coast Guard as Yantrik.  The official notification for Indian Coast Guard Yantrik recruitment has been released at the official website. Candidates can fill online application form from September 8 to 22, 2023 on the official website.  Candidates between 18 to 22 years of having a diploma in Telecommunication/Electrical/Mechanical and Electronics Engineering with 60% marks are eligible to apply for the recruitment. Indian Coast Guard Yantrik - Physical Fitness Test

Candidates qualifying the written test will have to appear for Physical Fitness Test and initial medical examination. In the physical fitness test, candidates have to complete the following tasks:

Indian Coast Guard will release the admit card of Yantrik 2024 in online mode at its official website. Candidates need to login with their registered email ID/application number to download the admit card of Indian Coast Guard Yantrik 2024. Candidates also required to bring any one identity proof like Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, Pan Card along with the Indian Coast Guard Yantrik Admit Card. The admit card of Indian Coast Guard Yantrik will have details like name, roll number, name and address of the exam centre, photograph and signature.

Documents required to be carried along with the admit card (original as well as photocopy)

• Three photocopies of admit card

• Original passing certificate and marksheets of class 10th

• Original certificate and marksheets of diploma

• Caste certificate (if required)

• One identity card - Pan Card, Passport, Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, Driving License, College/School ID Card and any other photo identity card

• Ten recent passport size photographs with blue background

After completion of all the stages of selection, a  final merit list of Indian Coast Guard Yantrik will be released on the official website of Indian Coast Guard in online mode . All the selected candidates will undergo the basic training programme followed by sea and professional training at INS, Chilka.

The selection procedure of Indian Coast Guard Yantrik includes - written test, physical fitness test and medical examination. For written test of Indian Coast Guard Yantrik, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of higher percentage of marks scored in their diploma. Candidates qualifying the written exam will have to undergo  physical fitness test and initial medical examination conducted for two-three days. All the final selected candidates will have to appear for final medical examination that will be conducted at INS Chilka. In case, if any candidate is found medically unfit at the final medical examination, they will not be selected for further training. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of number of vacancies and performance of candidates in various stages.
