Indian Coast Guard conducts Indian Coast Guard Yantrik exam for all the aspiring candidates who wish to join the Indian Coast Guard as Yantrik. Candidates who have completed their matriculation and also have a diploma in Telecommunication/Electrical/Mechanical and Electronics engineering with 60% marks in total can apply for this post. Also, candidates must be between 18 to 22 years of age to be eligible to apply for Indian Coast Guard Yantrik 2019. All the eligible candidates will have to undergo the following selection procedure - written exam, physical fitness test and medical examination. After all the selection procedure of Indian Coast Guard Yantrik 2019, the selected candidates will have to undergo the training programme, held at INS Chilka.

Candidates who wish to apply for Indian Coast Guard Yantrik must be between 18 to 22 years of age. However, candidates who belongs to SC/ST or OBC category gets upper age relaxation.

The application form of Indian Coast Guard Yantrik was available in online mode. Before applying for the Yantrik post, candidates must go through the eligibility criteria and know the other important details regarding filling the Indian Coast Guard Yantrik Application Form. Candidates will have to select the post of Indian Coast Guard Yantrik -

After final submission, a registration/application number will be generated. Candidates must note down the number for future reference. Also, a rejection slip will be displayed on the screen, in case the candidates do not meet the eligibility criteria.
The Indian Coast Guard Yantrik exam pattern will consist of detail information related to the written test. The exam pattern will help the candidates in knowing the type of questions asked in the exam and level of exam. Indian Coast Guard Yantrik - Physical Fitness Test
Candidates qualifying the written test will have to appear for Physical Fitness Test and initial medical examination. In the physical fitness test, candidates have to complete the following tasks:

Indian Coast Guard has released the Indian Coast Guard Yantrik admit card in online mode. Candidates who have successfully submitted their application form of Indian Coast Guard Yantrik will only be able to download their admit card. They can download their admit card by entering the registration email ID/application number in the login window. Candidates are required to bring any one identity card like Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, Pan Card along with the Indian Coast Guard Yantrik Admit Card. The admit card of Indian Coast Guard Yantrik will likely to contain details like name, roll number, name and address of the exam centre, photograph and signature.

After all the stages of selection, a final merit list of Indian Coast Guard Yantrik will likely to be released on the official website of Indian Coast Guard in online mode . The selection procedure of Indian Coast Guard Yantrik includes - written test, physical fitness test and medical examination. For written test of Indian Coast Guard Yantrik, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of higher percentage of marks scored in their diploma. Candidates qualifying the written exam will have to undergo physical fitness test and initial medical examination conducted for two-three days. All the final selected candidates will have to appear for final medical examination that will be conducted at INS Chilka. In case, if any candidate is found medically unfit at the final medical examination, they will not be selected for further training. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of number of vacancies.
