Indian Coast Guard Navik General Duty 2024 Exam - Dates, Recruitment, Notifications, Application

Indian Coast Guard has released the notification for Navik General Duty (GD) recruitment. Candidates can fill the online application form on the official website. Before applying online, candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria of Indian Coast Guard Navik GD 2024 in order to avoid any rejection at later stages. To be eligible for the post of General Duty, the age of candidates must be between 18 to 21 years. They must also have passed 10+2/HSC with an aggregate of 50% marks as well as they must have also scored 50% and more in Physics and Mathematics from a recognized institute and also they must be physically fit. Candidates will be selected for the post of Indian Coast Guard Navik GD 2024 on the basis of their performance in written exam, physical fitness test, and medical examination. Indian Coast Guard Navik GD 2024 - Physical Fitness Test

The physical fitness test will be conducted for the following tasks

Only those candidates can download the admit card who have successfully submitted the application form of Indian Coast Guard Navik GD 2024. They can access their admit card by entering the registration number and date of birth in the login window. Candidates are required to bring three photo-copies of the Indian Coast Guard Navik GD Admit Card 2024,  one colour passport size photograph (taken against the blue background) any one identity card like Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, Pan Card. The admit card of Indian Coast Guard Navik GD will have details like name, roll number, name and address of the exam centre, photograph and signature.

The final merit list of Indian Coast Guard Navik GD 2024 will likely be released on the official website of Indian Coast Guard. All the selected candidates will undergo the basic training programme followed by sea and professional training at INS, Chilka. 

Indian Coast Guard Navik GD Selection Procedure 2024 includes - written test, physical fitness test and medical examination. For the written test of Indian Coast Guard Navik GD 2024, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of higher percentage of marks secured in class 12th. Candidates qualifying the written exam will have to undergo the physical fitness test and initial medical examination conducted for about two days. All the final selected candidates will have to appear for the final medical examination that will be conducted at INS Chilka. In case, if any candidate is found medically not fit at the final medical examination, they will not be selected for further training. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the number of vacancies.
