About HP Judicial Services Exam 2019
Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) conducted the preliminary exam of HPPSC on March 01, 2020. Prior to this, it released the notification of Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services Exam on December 15, 2019 in online mode at www.hppsc.hp.gov.in/hppsc. As per the official notification, there are a total of 11 vacancies out of them, 7 are existing vacancies and 4 are anticipated. Along with releasing the notification authorities have also released the application form of HP Judicial exam. The last date to apply for the exam was January 5, 2020 (11:59 p.m). Last date to download the receipt of application along with the requisite document was January 13, 2020. Application fee for HP Judicial services is Rs. 400 for General categories candidates while for OBC, SC and ST candidates have to pay Rs. 100. Candidates who want to apply for the exam must be a citizen of India. Along with this, candidate must hold a degree in Law as recognized by the Bar Council of India as on January 5, 2020. Himachal Pradesh Judicial exam is conducted in two stages - 1) Preliminary Exam and 2) Main Exam. HPPSC Judicial Prelims exam will have three papers which will weigh 300 marks together. The second stage of the exam, Main, will have five papers and a Viva-voce and it will weigh 1000 marks.
Prelims exam was conducted on March 1, 2020 and HPPSC will release the result of exam on March 16, 2020 in online mode. The mains exam will be conducted on December 14 to 18, 2020, in offline mode.

HP Judicial Services Exam 2019 Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible for HPPSC Judicial Services exam, applicants need to satisfy some basic requirements. These basic requirements are given below:
- The aspirant must have a degree in Law from a college/university recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- Applicants must be a citizen of India.
- It is advised that the candidate has knowledge of dialects, customs and manners of Himachal Pradesh.
- Aspirants are required to be at least 22 years old and at most 35 years old. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for SC/ST and other prescribed reserved categories (OPRC) applicants of Himachal Pradesh.

The application process for HPPSC will be available in online mode. The application process for HP Judicial Services exam is given below: Candidates can fill the application form from December 15 to January 5, 2020.
Step 1: Go to the link provided on this page (Click here).
Step 2: Register yourself in 'New User' if you are not registered.
Step 3: Note down the ID and password as you will have to log in to get the admit card, result and such.
Step 4: Click on 'click to apply' and enter your information as required in particular fields.
Step 5: Upload images of a recent Photograph and Signature. Images must be in .jpeg format and should not exceed 40 KB each. The signature should be put on white paper using a black ink pen.
Step 6: Proceed for payment after submitting the application. Candidates can pay either through an e-challan or through e-payment (credit/debit card and others).
Step 7: After the payment is done, be sure to print at least 2-3 copies of the completed application form.
Step 8: After making the payment and taking out the print, access the 'Online Application Filing System'.
Step 9: Enter your details on the login page and take a print out of the application form available in PDF format.
Step 10: Dispatch the print out with required documents to “Controller of Examination, Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, Nigam Vihar, Shimla -171002”. Applicants are also advised to write the name of examination viz. “Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services Examination, 2017" on the envelope before dispatching it.
Things to remember when filling the application form:
- Applicants are advised to print out additional copies of the Application Form for themselves for future reference.
- They should also keep the original receipt issued by the Post Office for having sent the Application Form.
