UTET 2018 – Uttarakhand Board of School Examination (UBSE) has declared the UTET result 2018 on February 11, 2019. Candidates can check their result of UTET 2018 by entering their OMR Sheet number in the log in window. Earlier, on February 11, the final answer key of UTET for both the papers has also been released for all the sets in the form of pdf. Earlier, the provisional answer key was released on December 22, 2018. Candidates could challenge the UTET 2018 answer key till January 2, 2019, by providing supporting documents via speed post to the authorities. The result of UTET 2018 is expected to be released in February for both the papers. UTET 2018 was conducted in offline mode on December 14, 2018. 

UTET 2018 is held to assess candidates eligibility and aptitude for becoming teachers for primary and elementary classes. Candidates holding Bachelors Degree with atleast 50% marks could fill the application form of UTET 2018 in offline mode from September 1 to 30. UTET 2018 is conducted for two papers – Paper 1 for the primary stage (for teaching in classes 1 to 5) and Paper 2 for the elementary stage (for teaching in classes 6 to 8).

UTET Answer Key 2018

The final UTET answer key has been released on February 11, 2019 for both the papers - paper I and II. The final UTET answer key 2018 has been released after the scrutiny of the provisional answer key which was released on December 22, 2018. UTET answer key 2018 was released for all the sets of the booklet given to the candidates on the exam day. Candidates could check for all the correct answers by going through the answer key of UTET 2018 and calculate their expected score. In case of discrepancies, candidates could claim against the answer by sending an application along with the proof by speed post to the exam conducting body. 

UTET Result 2018

The result of UTET 2018 has been announced on February 11, 2019. The result of UTET is declared in online mode. The scorecard of UTET 2018 has also been issued and is being sent to each candidate through the post. Candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks are being issued certificate along with the scorecard. 

UTET Admit Card 2018

The admit card of UTET 2018 was released by the exam conducting authority on November 30, 2018. Candidates could download the admit card of UTET 2018 by using their OMR form number. UTET 2018 admit card contain details related to name, category, date and time of exam and exam centre. A print out of the UTET admit card must be taken by the candidates as it is an important document that must be carried to exam centre on the exam day. In case the print out of the admit card does not have a clear imprint of the candidates' picture, then they must also carry two passport size colour image of themselves to the exam centre.

Along with the admit card, candidates must carry one of the following photo identity proofs

  • Aadhaar card

  • Driving license

  • PAN card

  • Passport

  • Voter ID card.

It must be kept in mind that no candidate will be allowed in the exam hall without UTET admit card 2018.

UTET Application Form 2018

Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria could fill the application form of UTET 2018 in offline mode. The application form of UTET 2018 was available from September 1 to 27 at various District Post Offices mentioned in the article below. Candidates must pay the prescribed application fee and get the application form of UTET 2018 from the nearest Post Office. After filling the UTET 2018 application form, candidates must send the copy to the exam department through speed post on or before September 30, 2018.

UTET Application Form 2018 – Application Fees

The Application fee of UTET 2018 is decided by the exam conducting body according to the category of the candidate. Candidates can pay the prescribed amount and get the application form for the paper for which they will take the test. UTET Eligibility Criteria 2018

UBSE determines the eligibility criteria of UTET 2018 on the basis of age and educational qualification of the candidates. All aspiring candidates must meet the eligibility criteria to appear in UTET 2018 exam.

As per the notification released by UBSE, there is no upper age limit prescribed for the candidates to appear in the UTET 2018 exam.

Candidates who wish to appear for UTET 2018 must fulfill the following eligibility requirements related to education qualification.

  • Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary with minimum 50% marks and Two years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.Ed/BTC).

  • Must have passed 12th class with minimum 45% and two year’s training in elementary education under National Teacher Education Council.

OR

  • Must have passed 12th class with minimum 50% and 4 year of elementary education training.

OR

  • Graduation (or its equivalent) and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed)/BTC.

OR

  • Must hold a graduation degree with at least 50% marks and D.Ed/B.Ed (Special Education).

OR

For class VI to VIII Teacher

  • Candidates must hold graduation degree and have passed in the first year of a two-year training in primary education (D.EL.ED/BTC)

  • Must hold a graduation degree with minimum 50% marks, and have passed the first year of B. Ed.

OR

  • A candidate must hold a graduate degree with minimum 45% marks in B.Ed according to National Teacher Education Council.

  • A candidate must have passed 12th with minimum 50% marks and have passed 4 years elementary education B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.Sc.Ed.

UTET Cut Off 2018

UTET 2018 cut off is also expected to be released along with the result for both the papers – Paper I and II according to the category and region of the candidates. UTET cut off is the minimum marks that must be scored by the candidates in order to qualify the exam. All those candidates who score region wise overall cut off marks of UTET will only be referred to as qualified candidates.
